Do I need to screw the insulation sheets to the wall or is the adhesive on its own enough to hold it?
Asked by: TS
The container instructions call for pressure to be maintained until set (1 week?). Screws or bracing recommended. Obviously, some folks make do without following that instruction. Most adhesives hold better if under some pressure while they set up.

works great to glue foam boards together but you need to rough up the foam board surface first to take the sheen off the foam board. I used 60 grit sand paper to rough up the surface. I built an R20 attic door insulator out of R5 foam board using PL300. I first tried loctite power grab but it’s too thick so doesn’t spread easily and is difficult to squeeze from the tube. PL300 is the answer.

How many 4'x8' boards will 1 tube stick on a wall?

Looking to see coverage on board to wall and am wondering how many tubes I will need.
Asked by: John
I would use 1 tube per sheet of foamboard. Don't be stingy... this stuff is relatively cheap.

What color is this glue?

Why does color matter? It's not considered glue BTW.
