On the FCP1404HD, the platform height is 3'-10".
Are you able to stand on the platform? If so, is that OSHA Complaint?
Thank you for the question! Yes, you can stand on the platform when it is set up in platform mode or when it is locked in place and leaning against the wall or a corner as long as you have room to fold the platform down fully to stand on it.
What is the top height of the top platform for the 8 foot
Werner Ladder company shows this dim on their page, but Louisville doesn't. The specs say step rise is 12", so simply count the steps + platform. The platform will be 96". Add the amount of reach your body has, and you'll know max reach.
The top of the ladder is 10?-7? off of the ground.
How is it rated at 19ft reach? photos look like its a max of 12 ft reach, at best
The reach dimension is based on a person who is 5?-7? tall with either a 2 foot or 3 foot reach. This ?reach dimension? is not real it is based on a certain size person and in my opinion should not be used because people are all different sizes.
