will these pins fit a toro snowblower model 8240e

From toro.com : Why No Shear Pins on Toro Two-Stage Snowblowers? Toro two-stage snowblowers do not use shear pins. The commercial-grade gear case makes the need for a shear pin unnecessary. If the auger hits an obstruction or is over-loaded with snow, the engine may shut off, so that you can remove the key, clear the obstruction safely with a stick and get back to work. https://youtu.be/29T4t8cQlC0

just checked, package doesn't say craftsman it says Bolens, Yard machine,Yardman, Troy Bilt, or MTD. 300/500/600 SERIES Machines. It doesn't give the diameter of pin but looks about 1/4" length is 1 1/2" if that helps.

These shear pins are engineered to shear at a certain amount of PSI to avoid damage to internal parts. Under normal condistions they hold up for long time. However if you are trying to go through ice or large clumps of frozen snow the snowblower will get jamed and you may shear a pin. If your Blower becomes jamed or plugged SHUT IT OFF, look for what made it stop,a rock, ice, or something else, tree branch, NEVER PUT YOUR HAND OR ANY PART OF YOUR BODY IN AUGER OR BLOWER FAN. If you need need to clean out the snow or ice from the machine use a plastic shovel or a 1inch by 3/4 in piece of wood that is long enough to keep your hand away from all moving parts. After you have cleaned everything out look for the Auger to see if the pin is sheared, if the auger moves you sheared the pin the same with the blower fan.Replace the pin or pins and your back in service.

Will these fit Craftsman Model 88394 snowthrower? Thanks

I'm giving you a generic answer because I've been swamped by inquiries like yours. I was trying to get replacement shear pins for my Cub Cadet 524 SWE 2 and those are what I got. They match the old ones perfectly. The Home Depot online list describes it as 1-1/2 inches, which is the length I measured from the bottom of the pin to the bottom of the head. I took an eyeball thickness measurement and it is about 0.225 inch (5.7 mm). Good luck.

Unexpectedly ran out of shear pins in a recent "worst storm in 20 years". Home Depot not only had them, but had A LOT of them. Was able to purchase 5 packages!! Was able to do 3 driveways and almost a city block of sidewalk after installing the new ones. I really liked the retaining clips, much easier than cotter pins!
