Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal Linoleum Laminate Flooring is produced of natural linoleum on water-proof HDF with a cork backing for a warm, comfortable, quiet flooring solution. Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal is made primarily from renewable resources, including linseed oil, pine rosin and wood floor. These natural ingredients provide Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal with naturally occurring antistatic and antimicrobial properties that repel dust and dirt, making it easy to clean and reducing exposure to allergens, while inhibiting the breeding of harmful organisms. These benefits, combined with Marmoleum's uniquely beautiful patterns, create a healthy and inviting home environment that is durable and easy to maintain. Marmoleum Cinch Loc Seal fits into place using a secure Valinge 5G locking system for a glue-free installation. It can be combined with other Cinch Loc colors for custom interior designs. Product has 2mm Wear layer + 6.8mm HDF Core + 1mm Cork backing

A:  No, that will create too much flex in the flooring and result in the planks separating and poping up off the floor. In addition it will void the warranty. Mike

      First, the product is lovely! Unfortunately, after it was installed by a professional, and the cabinetry was installed along with countertops, the flooring immediately started to warp. During the process of installing cabinetry, I have two bad scratches and one big dent in the flooring, even though I covered the floor with cardboard. Scratch resistant? Definitely not. And the warping was a deal breaker. The floor installer also said it was difficult to install this type of flooring compared to the other products he's worked with. I'm not sure what I can do with the warped flooring. I would recommend installing flooring AFTER cabinetry and countertops are installed.
