I left the thermostat connected on the 3 units I installed on my house and garage roofs and installed a switch in an electrical box supplying power to each individual unit. This allows both options for each unit.
Yes its a good quality metal mash, it will last for many years great product.
No, this is a single sped motor, adding a speed control voids the warranty and may harm the fan. If you have any other inquiries about our Master Flow products please call Technical Services at 800-211-9612.
if you installed the in-line thermostat probably not. check the setting on it, it can be adjusted with a flat head screwdriver. if it's not running even at the minimum temp setting then it's most likely because it's not rated to run the fan at that low of a temperature. if you need to operate at a lower temp, remove the thermostat and wire it to a switch. then you can operate it manually.
This model comes with a thermostat on;y ,Optional humidistat available (H1) - sold separately. If you have any other inquiries about our Master Flow products please call Technical Services at 800-211-9612.
Never checked on warranty. I usually have to replace an electric fan motor about every 3 years. I set the temp to start fan at 110 degrees.
It is possible if it is the correct Master Flow thermostat, although this product comes with a thermostat you will not need to reuse the existing one. If you have any other inquiries about our Master Flow products please call Technical Services at 800-211-9612.
No idea. I suggest you talk to a roofer or general contractor.
