Q:Can you run an window AC unit 120 volt.
    by|Apr 21, 2024

    Answer This Question

A:  Hello Giames785, thank you for your question. The answer is likely yes depending upon the AC unit itself. The MM4350 series supports running loads up to 3200 watts. As long as the total load doesn't exceed this level you would be within the capabilities of this machine. To determine the running watts, you need to check the load from the AC unit. There should be a tag on the AC that lists the power requirements. If you are lucky, it will list watts directly. If not, it should list AMPs which can be used to determine the watts: AMPs x Volts= Watts. For example, 10AMPs @ 120Volts=1200Watts. Most window units will be under 1500 watts, however it is always best to check. One other consideration is the type of window unit itself. If it has a digital controller, or other potentially sensitive electronics on board an inverter generator will be a better choice.

Q:Can you charge a cell phone with this generator.thank you
      by|Mar 26, 2024

      Answer This Question

A:  Hello James, thank you for your question. The MM4350 series of generators is a standard generator, not an inverter generator. This means that voltage output is not as tightly regulated as an inverter style. While it will have plenty of power to charge your phone, depending on your charger it may not be a safe choice. For sensitive electronics an inverter style generator like our MM2000I series would be the better choice. These units control output very tightly, and even have built in USB outputs.

Q:can this generator run on a 15lb propane tank instead of a 20lb?

        Answer This Question

A:  Hello Hummingbird, thank you for your question. Yes, you can use a smaller tank, however you may need an adapter to go from the tank to the included regulator hose. The included regulator hose should be used with any size propane tank.

Bought this for upcoming hurricane season. This gennie is great! Dual fuel option is nice. Always have propane for BBQ, gas for lawnmower on hand anyway. Out of the box, installed wheel kit and started within 15 minutes! Would recommend to anyone.
