I would order them online for pickup at the store. Then, when you get the e-mail/message that they're ready, call the store to confirm, as occasionally the notification precedes the actual arrival at the store. I've never been disappointed with this procedure, though admittedly I'm about half a mile from my nearest store.
I'm sure you could fasten this to a chain link fence, but the result, especially on a slope, would not be what I'm thinking you want. This fence is really meant for level or nearly level ground, and would just look strange on a slope. For privacy, I'd look for those slats you put in chain link fence, or if that's too ugly, have a custom fence built to resemble these panels.
Any of the stains and paints for decks and fences sold at The Home Depot will help your fence stay strong longer. All that's left is to decide the color.
Hi Abbie, You can use 2" outdoor deck /wood screws. Two on each side panel is usually enough to attach to 4X4 fence posts. Each panel is 8ft, so your posts should be spaced 8ft or less.
Hi GN, No,,, the wood on this fence is not pressure treated. For best protection, staining and/or top coating with a quality stain or sealer is recommend a month or so after installation. Hope that helps. Best- Travis
I have 12 of them in my backyard and I’m very happy with it I think it’s made in the USA
