    Different 3/8 than pictured
The ratchet handle is tapered and “carved” instead of being the smooth teardrop shape as pictured. Great little socket so far, nice action. Just different design than is pictured.

12 in Milwaukee Ratchet This ratchet is a big improvement over the past model. With the added benefit of its longer size, allowing for even more leverage. The ratchet configuration is in line with the industry trend of smooth lines, while still being controllable in the hand. The major improvement over past years is the inclusion of the high ratchet tooth count, over older models. The 90-tooth count on this ratchet allows you to only need a 4-degree movement of the ratchet to gain another "click" and adding that much more tightening or loosening of the fastener. That may not sound like much until you get into the tight spaces in and around todays equipment and vehicles. That rapid acting ratchet allows more work to be accomplished while working with the tighter and tighter tolerances found today. The ratchets smooth action and comfortable feel makes using the tool easier in all positions.

I like this extended ratchet and found it to be useful. The 90 tooth ratchet is very smooth and allows you to get that ratchet action in tighter spaces. There is a 4 degree ratchet swing which also allows for that tight space ratcheting. The overall appearance of the ratchet looks like a quality product. The finish looks like it will last on the ratchet. The ratchet also has some laser engraving and on the back of the ratchet head Milwaukee has engraved the anvil size so that is a very nice touch if you have multiple ratchets. The handle feels decent in the hand and allows you to get a good grip on the ratchet. Everything seems like it was well made but if not Milwaukee does offer a lifetime guarantee on their hand tools which is really nice. Overall I would recommend this ratchet if you are in the market for a 12 inch extended ratchet.

The Milwaukee stubby 3/8" drive ratchet is a great addition to your tool chest. Good quality, nice finish and smooth operation. Perfect ratchet for working in tight spaces due to the short handle and minimal swing to turn the nut or bolt. The swing was very smooth with no effort to move to the next gear space to turn the bolt/nut. The ratchet also comes with Milwaukee's lifetime replacement warranty.

This is a high quality ratchet! It's very well made! The size 3/8" is much easier to use than a 1/4". It will allow much more torque. The chrome plating is very well done with no defects noted. The forward/reverse lever is well made and engages positively. The ratchet has fine teeth, and there is no slop in movement. The size allows it's use in small or tight spaces. This ratchet would be a perfect addition to any home or professional tool box!

This ratchet worked like a charm for me. I was working on a small job but it worked super easy and with no problems. The gear ratio is really tight. You barely have to turn the ratchet before it grabs another tooth. It’s designed to work in tight and limited access spaces. The handle of the unit is thin and flat on two sides. This along with the gear ratio allows it to perform great. The one thing I wish was different was that the socket head locked onto the ratchet. It’s just what I am used to. I would recommend this to a friend. Speaking off friends, don’t loan this out or you will never see it again.

This is a nice compact 3/8 inch drive ratchet wrench with a fully chrome smooth handle. Ergonomically, it feels good in the hand with no sharp angles or rough edges. With a 4 degree per-click movement, it allows for small amounts of rotation in very tight spaces. At a total of about 5 inches, you can still get a good grip but have room to operate in those cramped locations like vehicle engines. Takes up very little space in the tool box, and although you might not need it often, but when you do nothing else will work. Milwaukee hand tools are well designed, well made, and they come with a lifetime warranty. I own quite a few of them and have never had a problem with any of their hand tools. It is nice to know that Home Depot carries a large assortment in the store and online.

Once in a while you just need that tool. And the Milwaukee 3/8 drive 90 Tooth Extended Ratchet is that tool. The highly polished 12 inch tool is all about design. First off the 4° of swing and the 90 tooth ratchet is all about making tearing down any project easy. The 12 inch length of the ratchet increases the leverage for those stubborn bolts. And with the flush design of the directional lever. Makes for easy tighten and loosen for all nuts and bolts. And the laser etching makes this ratchet one attractive tool. One thing a push button quick release for the sockets would be nice for when your hands are greasy. But with a lifetime warranty and the Milwaukee name this tool will be around a long time.

Very high quality ratchet for use in tight spaces. The 5" length and 4 deg swing make it ideal for locations where most ratchets won't fit.. At 5" long, I would not use it for high torque applications but I tested it by coupling to a torque wrench and found it held up well to 10 ft-lb torque which was almost more than I was comfortable applying with its 5" length. And if I do over-stress and damage it, the lifetime guarantee should allow me to have it replaced. I did not push the limits any further but am confident it will hold up for how it should be used. Only down side is lack of socket release button. This ratchet is smaller than most 1/4" ratchets and complements the 12" version that I also have. This should make a good addition to my tool box.
