A:  Not an apples to apples comparison. This is a billet level, you are likely looking at the I-Beam Level (that is a much cheaper style)

A:  The response by Milwaukee is something a politician would say. The question as to was this product made in the USA was avoided like the plague. Since the answer gave the consumer the run around i guess it can be concluded that it wasnt made in America.

            its a good pocket level
Its a nice compact pocket level, the only bad thing is the glue is not holding together the pieces. A minor fall set the level apart.

Great compact torpedo level and Tape Measure!
A good set I liked the roulette padlock, and the informative numbers of fractions on it, I wanted there to be a magnet on the tip. The black rubber shell on the tape measure is non-slip The level is compact and sturdy, multi-degree measurement capabilities, in general I use only one month, so far I am satisfied Once a magnet picks up a small particles of steel it has to be physically removed. It is good practice to always wipe the magnets clean before each use.

Great until it breaks try #2
This is my second review of this level, I gave the details on what went wrong in the first one (see pic). I got a response from Milwaukee, great, but they told me only the Milwaukee 10 in. 360-degree Locking Die Cast Torpedo Level has a lifetime warranty. I was reviewing the Milwaukee 10 in. 360-degree Locking Die Cast Torpedo Level! Picture of my review on that page to help, along with pic of the level. They gave me a new email to try, I might, but the adventure does continue here.

I am in HVAC tech. Used this level for about 6 months but one day i was working out on A/C and level was left on direct sun for couple hours and it was hot day and bubble part of level swollen up, but over all great magnet.

                    Extremely tough and durable!
I am a welder who works for a company who install overhead crane systems. This level not only is great for helping me make sure my brackets are level that I have to weld with it's super strong magnets, but it is DURABLE!!! I dropped this level 4 times from 30 feet in the air out of my scissor lift onto a concrete floor and not a single scratch looks just like how I got it day one. I attached pictures to show the height where it fell from and how it looks after 4 drops. I was truly amazed.

                      Fooled me three times lol..
Great magnets, relatively level, but the bubble closest to the part number always goes out. Guessing there’s a hole in there, but I’ve been in the welding field for a little under two years now, and I’ve bought three of these. My coworkers have every other brand and theirs are still running strong.

I bought this in a 3 pack of Milwaukee levels. It worked great until it didn't. I've had it about 9 months. I use it on copper, mechanical, cast iron and metal studs. One magnet fell out and a week later it's got one left . I tried putting them back in but they don't stay in. I'm a milwaukee fan and have everything Milwaukee. Its a little disappointing it's not durable.

Durable build quality and great magnets
Very sturdy well built level. Magnets work fantastic and since there are four of them you don't have to play around to have it stick onto anything. The billet construction makes it tough, allowing it to keep its shape so you can get accurate readings. The vials are clear and easy to see giving you accurate level readings. It's a great size too, I can keep it in my pockets or throw it in my work bag without adding weight or taking up too much space. Definitely would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good torpedo level.

                            Best Torpedo Design I've Seen
I bought this level I think about 3 years ago, for sure 2 1/2. Out of the various torpedo levels I've had this is my favourite design. It's shorter than the typical one, and has just fit in many spaces that a 9 inch won't. The big vials are really easy to see, the 1/8 and 1/4 markings are handy. Being a plumber this gets used and abused daily, I periodically check to make sure it's still accurate by placing it on other larger levels. So far so good. It's been dropped many times but hasn't been affected. The magnets are really strong. I'm not a Milwauke fan typically, they have some terrible tools that they convince to people are great, but this tool is actually great. Awesome design, highly recommend. The markings on mine are wearing off, but 3 years of steady use is pretty good. ABS glue I think has worn off the markings.
