      Needs improvement!
Milwaukee's 72" laser level tripod is ideal for setting the horizontal height of your laser level up to 72" and as low as 28", helping to get your laser level off of the ground. At your lowest height, you can make precision adjustments up to 15". The tripod is made of aluminum making it very light weight with a 1/4" to 20" pan-tilt head. All adjustments are done using different knows that turn to loosen or tighten. The overall height is adjustable using telescoping legs and an on board level helps to make sure the tripod is as level as possible. I would have to agree with many of the reviews that I have read regarding this tripod is that it is flimsy. I feel like the tightening mechanisms and the precision height adjusting crank needs to be made of better quality materials. Because this tripod is being used to support my Milwaukee M12 3 plane level, which is not cheap, I need to feel comfortable mounting my laser level to this tripod, which at times I do not feel comfortable. The tripod is light in weight, but because I am mounting such an expensive tool to the tripod, even if the tripod weighed twice as much, it would not really make a difference for me. Even if it weighed 10 lbs, I would prefer that over how light it actually is. Compared to my table saw or miter saw or rotary hammer, a tripod of that weight would still be nothing. Having said all that, I have always been on the extremely careful side of using and taking care of my tools, I get that sometimes this is impossible given the nature of the conditions that we work in. I have not had issues with the crank adjustment or tightening mechanism failing after 6 months of use, but I still feel like the mechanisms should be made of better quality materials. I give this tripod 2 stars because I have been able to use it regularly without mishaps, but I took away 3 starts because of the quality of the build. I own everything Milwaukee and this is not the quality that I expect out of all my Milwaukee tools.

        Poor quality head on tripod
This is all plastic and not up to Milwaukee tools standards. It broke on my 1st use. Do not buy this!

This is a sturdy tripod with extra features that makes it more useful then a standard tripod. It has the usual things like telescoping legs, and a bubble level. The head features a separate crank height adjustment to fine tune your settings. It has another bubble level that works when it is the flat position. The head also tilts and swivels, with locks to hole the adjustment. The mount platform has a quick disconnect to make it easy to attach your device to it. It also lets you quickly remove your device for travel, or take it with you when you go on break. The bottom of the tripod also has an attachment point for a plumb bob so you can center it on a surveyor's marker or marking on the floor.

The Milwaukee 72 in. Adjustable Laser Level Tripod has all the features I wanted in a sturdy, multi-adjustable, lightweight, wide range setting tripod. It's range is from 28" (tabletop) to 72", with a center pole that can extend an additional 15". The removal mounting plate has a universal 1/4"x20 for attachments and a pan tilt head, with built in levels for accessory stability. Strong design, positive and quick adjustments, solid setting performance and overall a joy to use makes this my tripod of choice in the field for laser work, photography or even birding!

The Milwaukee 72 in. Adjustable Laser Level Tripod is a light weight (3 lbs.) adjustable tripod similar to a camera tripod. Maximum height is about 6 feet. Unit comes with a quick connect plate that is handy. The crank-up 15" riser makes positioning the laser beam easy. There is a bubble level on the platform and one on the top plate as well. Unfortunately the head is all plastic, feels flimsy and wobbles. If I leveled the platform, I was unable to get the top plate level. This tripod will work for some applications, but is not up to normal Milwaukee quality standards in my opinion.

I finally got tired of trying to rig my old camera tripod to work with my laser, so I decided to give this Milwaukee 72 inch Adjustable Laser Level Tripod a try. Like all of my other Milwaukee tools, this tripod is well-designed and well-made. It's very light, but feels quite sturdy. It adjusts easily in multiple aspects, allowing for precise positioning of your laser. A nice feature is the lower attachment point, which allows for a lower height positioning than a regular tripod. I've used this tripod several times since receiving it and I'm very pleased. Highly recommended!

The 72" Milwaukee Laser Level Tripod finally gives the greater height needed for many projects. When fully extended it measures just a shade over six feet to the bottom of the laser.. It is designed similar to the camera tripod I had been using before, but taller. There is a removable bracket that attaches to the laser using a 1/4"-20 threaded bolt. The tripod is manufactured from lightweight aluminum and folds up to a compact size. Each leg has three sections that can be adjusted to any length, locking in place with plastic retainers. The legs are a bit flexible when fully extended, but I don't see this as a big issue when using the laser. The top section cranks up and down and is fully adjustable in any direction. There are two levels to aid in setup. Overall it is exactly what I needed and would recommend it to others. It is manufactured in India.
