A:  Yes. They are replaceable but … you will have to take a tiny pry bar and pry the push on keeper washers off the axle and save them to reuse or do what I do and drill the axle and use cotter keys to hold new solid wheels on from Harbor freight.

            Answer This Question

A:  Tires should not need air unless they are sitting for long periods of time. Correct PSI is 30.

              Answer This Question

A:  Tires should last a few years just be sure to inspect them when you get the cart to see if one side was exposed to the sun for dryness or cracks

              by|Jul 27, 2022

A:  We don't have a set time frame on how long our wheels last as there are many things that can factor in; such as where the hand truck is stored, what kind of terrain it's being used on.....etc. The wheels on this unit are pneumatic so they are NOT puncture proof.

This is a solid had truck at a reasonable price. 10 in pneumatic (air filled) tires hand large curbs, stairs, and rough terrain better than solid not flat tires. Air filled tires still work better and provide more cushion over bumps. Nothing special here but the D handle make one hand use easy helps it lay flat on ground when loading. Bulky material will fall off but tie down strap fixes that issue.

I bought this to help install a new water heater. I live on a hill and had to take it down through the back yard to the walkout basement. I handled really well and traveled through the grass and ground evenly. I was able to pick up the old water heater that still had water in it and move it outside with no problems to let it drain. The d handle design allowed me to position my hands in ways to get leverage to get the water heater up and the wheels handled the load with no issues. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good Hand Truck However I Doubt The Tires Can Manage 800 Pounds
I picked up a pair of 90-pound dumbbells (Total 180 pounds) from local eBay seller in which I had to tote home on the Subway. With this hand truck, the weakest link in the chain would be the air tires. As they become flattened due to the weight, you will require more effort in order to push or pull whatever you moving using this hand truck to your destination. This is typical with all hand trucks that use air tires. If you are moving over 200 pounds, it may be best to invest in model that offers non-air tires if you looking for ease of mobility. However, air tires are least susceptible to damage compared to non-air tires when moving up and down flights of stairs with considerable weight. Non-air tires will crack under multiple shocks of sudden impact. Maneuvering with one handle is fine for light weight ranging from 100 pounds and below. However, the standard two handle hand truck would be best if you are planning to move 200 pounds and above. Don’t forget to buy some ratchet straps!

                      Great product, great price!
I went looking for a hand truck that would last a lifetime - strong enough to move anything from a dryer to a refrigerator. I have since moved our washer and dryer several times, as well as an old oven (up a tricky flight of stairs). This hand truck is really sturdy and is made the good-old-fashioned way (doesn't turn into a cart or fold up) so it's really rugged. Plus, the pneumatic tires make a big difference in quality of the product. I feel this was a very good buy for the money and it will last forever. Good to have around for household use.

Milwaukee 800 lb Hand Truck Is the One to Buy!
I've had several hand trucks over the years but I have to say I am very impressed with Home Depot's Milwaukee 800 lb D-handle hand truck. I've been moving logs, bricks, propane tanks and this hand truck is definitely up to the task. Wheels are solid, I saw no flexing in the loading deck. Very impressed. Thank you Home Depot for having the tools and equipment available to me that will do the job and will last for years!

The hand dolly 800lbs capacity is poor craftsmanship! The metal handles are slim vs thick. The previous generation of these hand dollies 10-15 yrs ago were heavy duty and well built for the same price. The wheels were even thicker! I actually still have that dolly! Shame on many of these companies for using less material in making these dollies. The truth is they don’t make thing like they use to.
