There are so many good uses for this knife other than said here. How about opening up the melons? It is so easy with this. It is a pierce and pull to cut knife So you can use it for whatever you need It is stainless steel and so it will never rust. It is from Milwaukee, and that is the best-recognized tool maker. I love it.

Awesome
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
I'm in hvac I bought this specifically to cut foil tape and pookie on and around plenums and hidden screws. This is perfect. I was using stubby flatheads before and/or boycotters. The angle on the hawk bill is perfect for those cramped hard to reach areas. Small like a stubby sharp like a box cutter. The only draw back is the clip, it's a bit flimsy. Theres another hole at the other end of the knife. Is that so we can switch what side the clip is on? I dont remember reading or seeing anything about it anywhere

One Hand Opening, Sharp and Solid

I already have one of the straight blades like this. I liked it so much, I got the Hawkbill version. Both have the same easy one hand opening. Just press the lick button and flip. How many times have you had to drop what you're doing, just to open your knife. You won't do that again with this one. The belt clip is reversible, so you can move the clip from one side to the other. Whichever is best for you. The blade is stainless steel and locks into place so there's no accidental closing. It comes with a lifetime warranty. This is a very solidly build knife that will quickly become your favorite.

Great little knife. I am a 67 y.o. woman, never laid sheet vinyl before. This tool cut it like butter. Was able to lay an 11 3/4 ft by 18 1/4 ft piece of flooring all by myself. Turned out great, so proud.

Good knife but the pocket clip is trash
Customer review from milwaukeetool.com logo
I like the knife. It works well for skinning wire but the pocket clip is junk. If you plan to out it on a lanyard or in a tool bag buy this. If you expect it to stay on your pocket then but something else because it sucks for that.

Great knife

I pretty much carry this with me everywhere I go. With a flick of the wrist it's open and ready. The blade is a little soft but easily sharpened.

My first hawk bill knife. Love it. Very sharp and very user friendly. Mine does not flip open; requires 2 hands - but I am fine with that.
