This speaker for size and how long it last...is a sell to me plus you can charge your phone while listening...durable!!! I lost mine out of my ice fishing sled whole going about 25mph> then was hit by snow plow>in snow bank for 3 nights couldn't find it until my neighbor cleared around my mailbox with his snowblower (60" wide on a kubota) still use it everyday!!! Battery is still good as well....thanks Milwaukee

i would buy this speaker over and over
im a equipment operator and use this speaker every day. I do 12 hour shifts and this plays every day all day. I get at least 2 days out of a charge. It takes the abuse of the machine and the dust and dirt. Other speakers just could not hold up. It is plenty loud enough to hear over the machine noise and good bass. Some reviews did not give it good reviews on sound but i have found it to be great. I used a zip tie to make a loop to hang it in whatever machine I'm in. Thank you milwaukee for making a Bluetooth speaker that can stand up to the abuse of construction life , plus be small enough with great sound to be brought along during the long days.

Pass on this one from Milwaukee
Great Bluetooth function but in my single cab 2012 f250 that the factory radio has died in and currently stuck at half volume is louder than this Bluetooth radio. The Milwaukee radio can only reach 90 DECIBLES with a 6.0 ah battery. I'm extremely disappointed with this product and have come to expect better from this company.

great while it lasted
I loved this thing while it lasted. I use this while working on projects around the house. Would not be loud enough for a jobsite (i am an electrician) but would be ok for a jobsite trailer. So why the 1 star? I purchased my first one and it lasted a year until the speaker blew. I found out later that my ex had been blasting the volume so i chocked it up as my fault. Purchased a second one and babied the volume. Ive had it for 6 months and the speaker is blown. It cuts in and out so bad i dont even use it. I have a very expensive phone charger now. I reached out to miluakee but no response. For the cost conpared to other brands it should be better quality. I think i will try a different brand.

Great little speaker
The M12 Jobsite Speaker is a great little toy. It seems very sturdy and shouldn't be affected too much by dust and dirt, as well as dropping it.
The sound is quite decent for such a little device and sure is better than your phone's speaker. It could get a little louder in my opinion, but then it would probably lose it's sound quality.
Pairing the speaker to your phone via Bluetooth is very easy. The limited range of only 30 feet is not the speakers fault, but rather a limit of Bluetooth.
The Aux In and USB port for charging are good additional features.
I was disappointed to see that there is no way to plug in a power adapter. It has to be driven by a M12 battery, but I rather use my batteries for my tools. So, I used a 12V power adapter and rigged it, which was very easy to do, but it will probably void the warranty.

A powerful combo at a great price!
I purchased this for my husband at his request. He is a carpenter, and they use Milwaukee on the job. We had a competitor's product in the past, and after only 2 years that one died, and it never seemed to have the power this Drill does. Since purchasing this drill, my husband has made a night stand, two toy boxes, and a box to hold a friend's mother's ashes in. He is currently working on 2 matching nightstands for my father. He just loves using this drill!

Not Loud Enough
That’s about it, the volume is barely adequate maxed out. I would use the top 3 clicks the majority of the time probably, about 80%, 90%, and 100% just guessing. I wouldn’t usually need it louder than that, but at this price point it seems unacceptable to me that it can’t be turned up louder if needed/wanted. Mainly for any outdoor use.
Other than that I like the size, simple button set up, it can charge my phone is huge, and most of all that it uses M12 batteries.

Does not get loud enough to hear on noisy job site
This speaker does not get very loud. If you want something that can amplify music over loud noise buy a JBL. This is perfect for a location that is quiet, like if your painting in a room by yourself.
