Milwaukee is 1# and Makita is 2# in my opinion! Milwaukee red tools always gives you the most power for your buck !!! Makita is like the like the samurai of power tools respect to red and green!!! Sometimes these GEN 4 fuels are too strong lol JK

Do better Home Depot!
Went and picked up my order at the service desk and it was in a box. When I opend the box my m18 high output XC 8.0 battery was literally opened and im sure that it has been used and returned. I bought this package as new and it is not. I want a replacement or im canceling this and future orders

impact driver has defect
impact driver turns forward when put in reverse one time or turns back when put in forward one time . Torque buttons don't work.

Beware
lately they have fallen off in product quality. My last gen3 impact took a dive and broke. Which is fine it was user fault. Excited to get a hold of the new gen 4 stuff I got to using them right away, No real power difference. Next day the impact seized! Tore it apart to fix it. Terrible quality! And the wires for the light are beyond brittle. I’ve since corrected the issues but you should not have to spend $400 for a impact to break 2 days later on the job. Look else where for better quality.

Amazing tool set, pro or DIYer.
This set accomplishes a lot. It comes with a drill\driver that also has hammer mode so you can do light to medium drilling in masonry. The other tool, the impact driver, is versatile and powerful, great for driving screws into lumber. I am a DIYer and have found both of these tools to be very handy, from installing a hose hanger on brick to screwing in fence panels.
The drill\driver is a 'compact' size and comes with standard clutch settings (so you dont overtighten) and speeds (drilling vs screwing). The chuck is 1/2" and aligns nicely with bits. The drill has lighting and a brushless motor which offers great power with less electricity used. It comes with a removable handle for hammer drilling. The impact driver is compact as well and has three speeds. It is great for driving screws of all sizes and driving them quickly. I have built decks and done some framing with them.
The set comes with two batteries, a charger and a tough plastic case. These tools are made in China.

Amazing Tools!
This is an awesome drill and impact gun kit! Don’t hesitate in getting it! Both tools are powerful, durable, and work well. The impact gun is extremely powerful. You can drive a 3 ½” construction screw through a 2x4 (the long way) and have no problem. It’s a very sturdy build that feels good in your hand; it’s also very small making it easy to pack around. The unique settings on it (like the self-tapping screw mode) are very awesome too.
The drill runs well and the added impact feature makes it easy to drill holes in concrete; its also a more powerful hammer drill than others I have used that are comparable. The tools are quite efficient and the batteries last a while. The case is very handy in packing them around and its built to last. I couldn’t be more happy with this drill and impact gun combo. No complaints. These are amazing tools.

Great features and very versatile
This hammer drill and impact set is loaded with features that make working with it a breeze for pros and DIYers alike.
The hammer drill has a half inch capacity which is more useful than the three eighths chucks.
There is a built in feature that will save your wrist if the drill binds. The drill senses the sudden resistance and backs off on the rotation. Excellent feature!
The balance of both units is very good and the range of adjustments is very good also.
It comes in an impact resistant carrying case that will stand up to job site conditions.

Great power and torque
This is one great set of Milwaukee fuel drill and driver combo set of tools. Awesome power You want be able to beat this set of tools, I built a ramp going into my tool shed and had to drill into concrete, when I did it didn't even bog the drill down one bit. I drilled several holes into the concrete and when I got done I check the battery level and it was showing full charge. I also used the drill to fasten everything together with screws and by the time I got done it started showing the battery was 1/2 charge. You can't beat that. This set comes with 2 5 .0 AH batteries and a charger a impact Driver and a hammer drill and a very good case to keep everything in. I love the trigger on the drill when you release the trigger the drill stops very quick and operates so easy. You want go wrong in getting this combo set. the impact driver is wonderful to and boy does it have the torque.. If you want a set tools to do a job with this is the combo set to have it really works and does any job you put it to do.
