Product Overview

The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL 21 Degree Framing Nailer sets the new standard for cordless framing nailers. By leveraging a nitrogen spring mechanism, POWERSTATE brushless motor, and REDLINK Intelligence, this nailer provides users with pneumatic performance and the convenience and freedom of cordless power. Delivering the power to sink full round head nails into dense engineered lumbers, this framing nailer enables users to tackle even the most demanding framing applications. To keep users productive and efficient throughout the day, the framing gun fires 3 nails per second with zero ramp-up time, meaning a nail is fired as soon as the user pulls the trigger. Additionally, the cordless framing nailer operates using only Milwaukee's REDLITHIUM Batteries (not included) and sealed compressed nitrogen to drive each nail, completely eliminating the cost of gas cartridges and maintenance associated with competitors' nailers. The M18 FUEL 21 Degree Framing Nailer delivers the pneumatic performance and durability that professional carpenters and remodelers expect, without the hassle of a compressor and hose or gas cartridge.

One of my top 3 go-to brands. If I did this daily, I'd prob stick to one, and it'd be this, but I only property management stuff on the side so I've acquired a few different brands over the years. This is a great tool made by one of the best companies out there. I still have Milwaukee products from 1998(Hammer drill) that still works. Love the way it shoots and I love how convenient it is. A compressor sound bothers me so this eliminates that entirely. I rarely get any jams but if I do, it's pretty quick to clear. Having a needle nose plier in your tool belt can help sometimes

I would purchase this only due to convenience
I'm a fencing contractor, works great until it comes time to putting up boards. With factory small clip we over heat these guns. We own 2 and put up about 100' a day. Couldn't imagine the extended clip and not being able to actually put it to use. Post set, frame set. And timed for just boards. 95' double rail, with kick board. Every board with 4 2" galvanized ring shank nails. Time was 56 min and about 20 min of that time was waiting for the over heat to allow the 1 user to use again. (Only one installer once frame was up)

        Great dependable nailer!
This nail gun I have to say worked great, I shot over 1400 nails without one jam. I like the versatility and ease of use of this gun. But, there is several things I don't like. First is the weight, very heavy, it wore my shoulder out , seems to be well made though. Second is the amount of nails it holds, not very many only 1 row of nails at a time which is around 25 or 30. You can put more but you would have to cut apart a row to insert, and that would be to much trouble. When I was nailing I would insert a row of nails when I ran out, there was more room for more nails but you would not have the room to insert another full row. I find this nailer is for special nailing situations when you don't have a compressor or out in the field where there is no electricity for a compressor, or do not want the trouble of a air hose . I may go back to a pneumatic gun for my compressor , the weight of this gun is a deciding factor, just to heavy.

Love it! Fires fast and buries the nail everytime!
I now have this, the 18ga brad nailer and the 23ga headless pin nailer. They are ALL AMAZING! Not having to drag around a compressor (even though I do have the M18 Compressor too) is severly under-rated! I am more of a handyman, but take on remodels and other types of jobs. Most recently I was hired to build a floating dock. Figured now was the time to move to a battery framing nailer. For tools I use ALOT, I only buy Milwaukee or Dewalt. Well mostly Milwaukee. Even though I feel that they're comparable in quality and both will last a long time, I have been leaning towards Milwaukee lately. I have gotta say it has not been a let down. This nailer is easy to use, fires quickly, accurately and a 5ah battery lasts me all day. I took a star off for the weight. It is DEFINITELY heavier then my older pneumatic nailer, which i feel in today's day and age shouldn't happen. I guess I am just being picky with that one. If you are nailing overhead for extended periods of time, your arm is going to get tired. This is the only flaw I can find and feel that Milwalkee, yet again, has made a top of the market tool.

              Don’t buy into the hype!
Very disappointed would not sink a 2-3/8” to nail on sheathing. Sunk maybe 5 out 50, the rest were 1/4 to 1/2” from being set. I do not understand the hype on YouTube compared to my experience right out of the box. Terrible and unacceptable.

The Best Nailer In The Market!!
I cant say enough about this 21 degreen framing nailer. Milwaukee hit a grand slam with this one. I have been using my HO 3.0ah battery and its last me all day sheeting. Its only down side is it gets heavy after many hours and it only holds one sleeve of nails. Besides that, its a top 5 must have tool.

                    Need more tools
I bought a 12 x 8 wooded shed and your power tools to put it together. Wish you had a M18 cordless roofing nailer. This is a pic of the finished shed and some of the tools I used.
