M18 FUEL Brushless Cordless 21 in. Walk Behind Dual Battery Self-Propelled Mower w/(2) 12.0Ah Battery and Rapid Charger

I am glad I invested in a Milwaukee lawn mower when I made the switch from gas. My first project, the day after it arrived (purchased during a flash sale from Ohio Power Tool) was cutting back a neighbors front yard that had grown up to 22” while he was away attending his daughters wedding and sight seeing out west. Using the high rpm mode it fought through the grass relentlessly. It was impressive even more so, as I was mulching his grass in the process. One pass with the mower, one pass with the rake, one pass with the blower, and he was spared potential HOA fines. Since then, I have been cutting my own lawn using the rear side discharge, while towing a heavy stripe wheel where needed. I can cut my lawn, and the common area behind my home that the HOA contractors rarely mow, and still have one bar of energy left after mowing approximately 7,500 sq. ft of your average suburban yard. It is nice not having to wear ear plugs while mowing; the center paddle for the self propel is easy to regulate the pace as I am maneuvering in tight corners. The rear side discharge makes getting into spaces easier then my old gas side discharge. I rarely find a straggler the mower missed, the blade definitely improved once the factory coating on the blade edge wore off. I have found this mower to track smoother in keeping a straight line compared to my gas mower, which tended to bounce around a bit. Not sure if the Milwaukee is heavier, or it’s wheel smoothness and frame over all are just built better and tighter. Cleaning the mower by hand in its stow position is easy enough. The dual charger is great and my batteries are fully charged in about two hours and ready to go for next week. Overall, I figure I have a lawn that has always received complements for being well maintained and groomed, my Milwaukee mower investment is a reflection of that effort. So nice to know I can spin it up at any hour and knock the job out this summer with no concern for disturbing the neighbors.

The mower is great. String trimmer good. The problem was that when you order combo (mower & string trimmer) it comes with 2-12ah batteries and 1-8ah battery. You’re given option to choose 3rd 12ah battery, total price of $1369, so I did. Received 2-12ah and 1-8ah. No 3rd 12ah battery. Store manager agreed but said I had to call 800#, they offered me a 3rd at discount which I declined because I should have received what I already paid for. Very frustrating

Given the cost of this mower and having used a Honda for 12 years I was skeptical about making the switch. I needed a mower that could run for 50-60 minutes on a single charge while providing a clean cut both mulching and bagging. Out of the box the assembly was easy and with fully charged batteries this mower performed! I used the high lift option with the push of a button for a nice mulch cut and 55 minutes later the cut was great and the mower still had battery life. 5 cuts later and this mower is out performing my old Honda 200 cc mower. I’ve used Milwaukee tools for years and really like the fact I can swap the M18 batteries with any of the M18 tools. Looking forward to adding the weed eater and chainsaw.

I haven't owned this mower for a little more than a year. the bags stitching has become undone in the corner. for amount of money spent on this I would of expected far better quality from Milwaukee. Kinda disappointed.

This equipment is sooo good it's just not worth putting up with a failure instead. Chose to cut my own lawn after 40 years of service here and not only am I so glad I did this, I actually have a better looking lawn. Easy to store too!

Haven't got to use it yet. Both right wheels fell off, were not bolted on.

Typical Milwaukee product…setting a bar that the competition cannot reach and makes my neighbors with gas mowers jealous

So after extensive research and narrowing it down between Milwaukee and Stihl for my outdoor power tools, I wanted battery operated. I was very hesitant to pull the trigger on Milwaukee after seeing so many recent negative reviews about the M18 mower. Boy am I glad I did though. This mower has exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, easy assemble and started right up with included batteries. I also bought the Milwaukee leaf blower as well and couldn't be happier. I live in a subdivision with about 11,000sqft lot. Not only did it mow the entire thing, I still had battery power left. I even told myself I'd wait to write a review until I mowed a 2nd time, same result with it mowing wet grass and having battery power left. I felt like it's my obligation to let everyone know that maybe some of you got duds or had bad experiences but I didn't. Stihl is also a great brand but I opted for Milwaukee because it uses the same battery/charging dock for multiple tools as where Stihl didn't.

Well besides having to put the front axle assembly on the mower and the lack of uplift from the blades this mower is awesome!
