Answer This Question

A:  Hi there. I am using 5Ah on my Milwaukee Compact Bandsaw and I can use it for about 2 full days without needing to charge the battery again.

A:  It can vary depending on a multitude of factors. For example, the tool it is being used on, the power the tool is exerting, and the speed the tool is set on. - Milwaukee Tool, Social Team

          Let there be light!
I finally got to try out the light and it saved me a trip back to a customers house as it got dark on me! Was way brighter than I expected but it has different setting and the least brightest was enough for me to work with. Will definitely keep using this as I work nights daily and hopefully it lasts me as long as my other Milwaukee tools!

Great light! Very bright, and can be adjusted for just about any height and angle that you could need. Just pained my whole house with this and it was fantastic. Battery last plenty long with the 3 brightness modes. Only reason for 4 start is that the on/off button must be pressed several times to cycle through modes. Even the cheaper M18 lights have separate on/off and mode buttons. I like to be able to turn the light on and off without cycling through each mode every time. Otherwise, it’s a perfect light for most jobs.

            Good blower not perfect
Good blower not perfect if you have small yard it works for clean up blowing large leaf fine smaller like inch in size of in grass not so great Got this blower because have Extra Batteries 18 v 8 amps those lasted 20 minutes blowing and drain out takes 2 hours charged back Unit is heavy have to change hands 10 minutes blowing No shouldered straps. If you buying without batteries price could be cheaper if you need batteries price to much Better blower out there for that price prefer back pack models electric or gas. Lots reviews and test scores on Milwaukee blowers to compare personally using echo backpack gas blower so I’m spoiled takes weigh off your arms

The power of a gas blower with faster trigger response
I've had my share of yard blowers; both gas and battery-powered and in both hand-held and backpack (gas only). I have about an acre of yard with a lot of sidewalk/driveway in the front. My gas backpack eventually wore out and I've been using another brand of battery-powered hand-held. It does OK but really lacks the power I had with a gas-powered version. I already own a number of Milwaukee cordless power tools and have been very pleased with the brand. I also have the Milwaukee 18-volt cordless weedeater and it has been doing a great job for the last 2 years so I felt this new Milwaukee blower would be worth a try. I'm glad I did! Everything about Milwaukee is well thought out - no surprise there. The blower tube and nozzles actually latch on. No chasing after a knocked off nozzle. Even though it takes TWO M18 batteries to power the blower, the blower is very well balanced with my 2) XC 6.0ah batteries plugged in. I was expecting the blower to be on the heavy side with the pair of 6.0ah batteries but it surprisingly wasn't. The operation of the blower easily surpasses any yard blower I've used. First, there is the large trigger; it is easy to squeeze the trigger with two fingers - this for me provides great balance and control. Although the trigger is very responsive and easy to operate with just my index finger, I found it more comfortable to use two fingers. Then the awesome feature of the variable speed, trigger slide control. I've had blowers with trigger locks that locks the trigger in at maximum output, but Milwaukee designed this blower with a slide lock; just move the slider to the speed/output desired - that's it! I didn't really know how much I would use that feature but it turns out that I use it a lot. The trigger response from a dead stop is immediate, definitely faster than my gas blower which was fairly responsive. Blower's performance is awesome. I use the tapered nozzle for blowing grass clippings from the driveway and sidewalk and clear the leaves from our patio with the flat nozzle. The blower noise is much, much lower than gas and a little less than my other brand battery-powered blower, very tolerable. Now for the batteries; yes, you need 2) M18 batteries, and they should be matched amp-hour sized and both fully charged. You can use differing amp-hour sizes, however, the lower size battery will deplete sooner and when one of the batteries runs out, the blower will not run regardless of the charge remaining in the one battery. This is a 36-volt blower and needs both 18-volt batteries to work. My XC6.0ah batteries lasted about 50 minutes of mostly constant high-speed blowing. The blower's fuel gauge appears to accurately reflect the XC fuel gauge. I am very pleased with the Milwaukee blower. Milwaukee did a great job in the design.

            Milwaukee Does It Again
This Milwaukee M18 FUEL Dual Battery 145 MPH 600 CFM 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Handheld Blower provides gas-powered blower performance or better with so much more convenience. The machine is well balanced and easy to use. The electronically controlled constant power output is great and combined with the top mounted slide switch to select a rate is really nice. Of course, variable output using the trigger is always available. I have a good assortment of high output M18 batteries associated with my other Milwaukee tools and found that using 6 AH batteries makes for a nice balance between run time and weight although 8 AH batteries or higher are recommended. Having extra batteries helps if the job is going to take more than about 20 minutes. The 4-light fuel (charge) indicator is easy to see during use and is helpful in assessing remaining run time. The nozzle attachments are typical Milwaukee quality with latches instead of the usual difficult push in and twist arrangement. For many homeowners this is all the blower they will need. I have a large yard bordered by woods and will still use the gas-powered backpack blower in the fall. However, this machine will really help simplify blowing the spring leaf development debris as well as fall leaves from behind the foundation plantings, around the patio, pool area and driveway where the backpack is overkill or awkward to use. Like my other Milwaukee tools, it is a really nice heavy-duty machine.

            Bye bye gas powered blower!
I got this blower (bare tool only) primarily to clear leaves and other debris from the lawn, patio, walks, and driveway. Since I’m already invested in the M18 platform and have lots of batteries I can keep it running for days. It requires two batteries to operate and I’ve found run time decent when using two 6.0 Ah high output batteries. I really like the variable speed trigger lock off switch, which allows for easy selection of the appropriate amount of air for any job. Lower levels are good for removing leaves from mulched flowerbeds without blowing away the mulch. Higher speeds are good for wet leaves and moving mulch back from the edge of flowerbeds to prevent the weedwacker from kicking it into the yard. And unlike any other battery blower I have (and I have 2 other brands), this blower’s lowest setting is comparable to the idle of a gas powered blower. Most folks won’t care about “idling;” however, if you’ve ever put down pavers and filled the gaps with polymeric sand, you know it requires a gas powered blower on idle to adjust the depth of the sand to 1/8” below the top of the pavers. This Milwaukee blower can do it too! Something to keep in mind is that the tool requires two batteries to run. That’s unfortunate, but I get it. Two batteries not only helps balance the tool, but also provides for longer run time and more consistent power. Unfortunately the added weight of two 6 Ah or higher high-output batteries makes this tool heavy (bare tool is ~6 lbs) and a bit bulky. After five minutes I have to change hands because it fatigues my wrists and forearms just like my gas powered handheld. It also has some kickback upon gunning it at startup. The marketing and specifications say this tool is “optimized for high output batteries,” and it seems to be the case unless I’m imagining it. I used two XC 5.0 Ah batteries and the bright, operator-facing, FUEL gauge, which is helpful but rather overdone, seemed to drop quicker than when using high output batteries. And while high output batteries didn’t seem to affect the air speed or power, they prolong run time. This blower boasts air speeds up to 145 MPH, which is only 5 MPH less than my handheld gas powered blower… and it’s significantly quieter (64 db(A) but still loud enough for earplugs. And while the 600 CFM is an impressive specification, I find MPH a more helpful measurement for comparison. For example, my gas powered handheld blower is rated 400 CFM, but blows up to150 MPH while my backpack blower is rated 434 CFM and blows up to 251 MPH. So CFM can be misleading in my opinion. Either way, I can confidently retire my gas powered handheld. I’d surmise this model is a quieter and perhaps greener option that would please professional landscapers too. For most DIYers or folks with small yards, this model might be overkill, in which case Milwaukee’s 2724-20 blower might be more economical and less cumbersome. The two included nozzles (flat and tapered) snap on nice and tight, which I appreciate, although most of the time I won’t use them. There’s a small hanging hole on the underside of the blower so it can be hung on a screw in the workshop, which is great because that’s how I like to hang my blowers. One thing I was surprised about is that the warranty is only 3 years versus the standard 5 year power tool warranty. I’m not concerned given how reliable my Milwaukee tools have been, but still worth pointing out. Overall another nice Milwaukee tool!

I use this blower both for yardwork and to dry off my vehicles after washing them. This new M18 dual battery blower is noticeably more powerful than the M18 single battery blower. I also purchased a "stubby car drying nozzle" I found on Etsy that I use with the blower and together they do an amazing job! I highly recommend both products.
