This one tough garment. Very well made. If you nick it the tear will not spread. Very comfortable to work in. Does not have a lot of points to catch on to or bind on. Smooth surfaces.Moves with you not against you. It will allow you to keep your core warm without a bulky coat. Keeping you safer on the job. Fast recharge time. And you can expect a run time of at least eight hours+. The battery is small enough so you will hardly notice it. It has 3 temperature settings. And heating pockets. Perfect for fast finger warm-up. It is also a great windbreaker. Milwaukee batteries are the best in the business

I like this newer version. Instead of quilted nylon, the fabric on the sleeves and body are more like a ballistic fabric which sure feels like it will hold up a long time. The hood is a thick fleece material, soft on the inside and a very tight weave on the outside so you shouldn't pick up too much dirt when you're on the ground. The heat-o-meter is easier to read with two small "thermometers" that show low, medium, and high temps for the two heating zones. The biggest improvement is the battery pocket. Instead of being on your left kidney, you have two choices: in the front (behind the left pocket) or in the kidney position. This makes it a LOT more comfortable when driving. A great jacket that keeps the chill off for hours.

The jacket is ok but the elements are joke, they’re small and don’t justify spending all that money

I choose this hooded jacket because I'm going to be doing some work outside up in the mountains of Tennessee this winter. I was told by a contractor friend of mine that this jacket was the bomb at keeping you warm in the cooler months. This kit comes with everything you need to get you toasty on those cold winter days. The kit comes with one hooded and well insulated jacket. One CP3.0 battery, one M12 compact charger and power source and one heavy duty cord/cable all made right here in the good ole' USA. It has a lot of great features such as a front and back hidden battery pocket. Also has nice reinforced high wear zones protecting from abrasion and tears. The Axis rip stop polyester installation keeps heat in and doesn't adds bulk. The jacket is is also washer and dryer safe. I ordered an X-LARGE as seen in my my photos and I'm 6'2" tall and weigh 235 lbs. and fits very comfortably. Comes with a one year manufacture warranty on the jacket and two year warranty on the battery.

I had the prior version of this Milwaukee heated jacket and I used it pretty much daily at my job until my vehicle got broken into and it was stolen. These Milwaukee heated jackets are simply amazing during the Fall and Winter months or if you are one of those early risers who is up at the crack of dawn every day of the year. I use this jacket to walk the dog early in the morning and sometimes late at night and it allows me to be very comfortable no matter the time of day or the season. These jackets have three zones that heat up. You have the front chest area, the shoulders and the back. You can control how warm it gets by hitting the buttons on the left side of your chest. Each button press will change the heat from high to medium to low setting and there are little boxes that change color accordingly so you know which setting you are on. This jacket will actually keep you very warm without even turning it on. It is very well engineered with large pockets in the front that are big enough to put your hands in even with gloves on. The rip stop material they are using is incredibly strong and very tear resistant. I carry a lot of items over my shoulder while at work and there isn’t even a hint of a tear in that area. I’m glad they listened to their clients and made the new jacket with a pass through pocket for the battery. This makes it nice when you are sitting down and no longer have a large lump poking you in the back. I used to get very annoyed every time I had to get in the car to drive with the battery back there but that is no longer a problem. This jacket is very wind and water resistant. I work around some very large ponds at work and there is a lot of wind in the area and quite a bit of moisture that comes off of them and this jacket keeps me perfectly warm and dry. For those of you who wear a hard hat at work like I do they perfectly engineered the hood so that it fits comfortably under your hard hat and doesn’t block your peripheral vision. All in all I’m extremely happy to have another Milwaukee heated jacket. If you are in the “trades” are just an average every day person you will appreciate this jacket and all the technology that went into its design. They thought of everything with this one. I’m also loving this battery that comes with the jacket. It will keep me warm up to 12 hours if I keep the jacket on its lowest setting and since I work 12 hours shifts it’s perfect.

This Milwaukee jacket is constructed of all man-made materials. The lighter grey portions are rip-stop nylon. It is very water resistant – water beaded up on all external parts of the jacket. There are draw strings at the hem, which keeps the wind from blowing up from below. I would like to have seen that the cuffs had adjustable closures. The two layer hood does not have heating elements, but is respectable in its own right, and is very light without the battery. Yes, that is what sets this apart from the ordinary jacket - the heating elements. The jacket heats up in about 30 seconds. When the heater(s) are on, the chest LEDs are illuminated. At first, it’s a little awkward turning the jacket’s heaters on; you may need to look in a mirror to determine what setting you have selected. (There are three for each of the two heated areas on the jacket.) A 3AH battery is included, but you need to provide your own method of supplying the charging current via the included USB A cable. (No ‘wall wart’ or charger is included.) The battery did fit my Milwaukee M12 changer (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-and-M18-12-Volt-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Multi-Voltage-Rapid-Battery-Charger-48-59-1808/206211757 ). The battery pack (battery and adapter) weighs 0.626 pounds, and fits into its own zippered pocket, with a red M12 label. There are two more front pockets, roomy enough for your gloved hands (when they are not snapped shut) and one internal zippered pocket. The XL size fit my 6’2” frame. It hasn’t been very cold outside here yet, but I feel the Milwaukee M12 heated jacket is up to the challenge when winter hits.

I wore one of the earlier versions; more of heated sweatshirt/hoodie. The fabric on this has been improved a lot. More water resistant and less likely to rip or tear than my old one. Two outside snap pockets and one inside zippered. The exterior zippered battery pocket (on the left side) has a divider to hold the battery at your side or more in the back. Depends on what is more comefortable to you. I keep the charging cable in there too. The jacket has a pair (zone) of buttons and 3 levels / indicators (high, medium, low) on your upper left. The primary zone is upper chest and back, the secondary zone is more over my shoulders. A two second press turns it on/off. Another press changes the heat level. It also uses the same battery pack as a lot of my tools. It's a 12 VDC Li-Ion in the Milwaukee pack designated as a M12. The charger has been improved; same 12VDC coaxial output for the jacket, micro USB to USB-A to charge it. The 120VAC to 5VDC adapter is an option, I use a 'gang' type charger with 4 outputs, or the vehicle's USB port, or one of the 'spares' I have. There is a 'fuel gauge' that indicates battery charge when you press the button also a USB-A power output jack to charge up a cell phone etc, button turns it on for ~ 2 hours.

The controls are conveniently mounted in the upper left shoulder area, right under the Milwaukee logo. There are 2 switches, one controlling the back area, the other controlling the shoulder area, each with 3 levels of power. The heat output feels nice. It takes a couple minutes to warm up, but that is to be expected. This jacket comes with a charger that plugs into a USB outlet to charge the battery. If you happen to have any Milwaukee M12 tools with battery charger, you can charge the battery that way which would be faster. The battery can also be used to charge other USB devices which can come in handy. The jacket has a nice feel to it, the battery has its own pocketed compartment to plug in, controls on the jacket can be used while wearing gloves without any problems. You can tell if the jacket is on, as the controls light up. Depending on how high you turn the heat settings, the battery is designed to last upward of 12 hours at the lowest setting, 3 hours at the highest setting and 6 hours at a medium setting. I plan on making this my main jacket when winter comes. Comfortable, warm and looks great.

I live in northern Michigan where we do a number of winter activities to help get us through the cold months. A heated jacket is a great way to help you enjoy the colder months and stay comfortable. We do a lot of ice fishing, snow mobile Ing or just taking walks. This electric jacket makes it quite comfortable to enjoy these types of activities. Even on the coldest days, you can wear this under another coat safely and never feel cold. Another activity I found it useful was motorcycle riding. In our area, it can be cold but still have great riding weather. In most cases, this will fit under a leather jacket (or other) keeping the rider toasty. When fully charged, it can provide up to 12 hours of warmth depending on the temperature setting. The multi-level switch is located on the left breast logo and is touch sensitive. There is a plug-in connector in the pocket to plug in and carry the battery pack. The battery is rechargeable using a standard USB connector. Note, the charger does not plug into a standard wall outlet but is chargeable using any standard USB outlet. The jacket is machine washable. Follow the washing instructions closely.

This is an excellent M12 heavy-duty hooded heated jacket by Milwaukee. This one hits the mark in all my categories. My observations: • Great looking jacket. You can be proud wearing this to a worksite, personal/business trip, around town, hunting, tailgating, working outside, etc. • The quality is top notch all around. I could not find any type of quality issue and I gave the jacket a thorough check. Everything worked as I expected and the stitching, zippers, pockets, controls are all high level. • This kit comes with the jacket, M12 3.0Ah battery, M12 compact charger, and a power source. Keep in mind this power charge and source is the one you want. It has a fuel gauge and a USB to charge a phone, etc. • The heat will be felt in the chest, upper back, and shoulders. When I turned it on, I felt mild heat within 15 seconds, good heat around 25 seconds, and strong heat at 40 seconds. I was impressed with the speed of the heat. • Battery life: I’ve found the Milwaukee advertised times to be accurate. Obviously, it all depends on the type of M12 battery you are using and if you like High, Med, or Low heat. Again, this jacket kit comes with the 3.0 Ah battery, and you will easily get 10-12+ hours on low. • The last couple of years I see more Milwaukee jackets/vests with the battery pass-through in the pocket(s). This is huge for comfort especially when sitting or driving. This allows me to move the battery into a more comfortable position. • Plenty of pockets. Two have snaps (for your hands) and two have zippers. I really like the interior zipped pocket for valuables. • The jacket is made tough. You will find it very difficult to tear or damage it. • I wear Large for all my jackets and shirts. I have long arms and this ‘Large’ size is a perfect fit for me. • The heat controls are simple to use with or without gloves. Basically, no reason to remove your gloves to adjust the heat. • You can adjust the waist to for a better fit. • I enjoy wearing this jacket with or without the battery. Because this is such high-quality jacket, I often don’t even bring a battery but it’s nice to know it’s heated when I need it for the extremely cold days. This jacket met and exceeded my expectations. High quality, strong heat, looks great, and comfortable to wear all day. I highly recommend.
