This auger does not have a drop head or a bulb head. It has a fixed rubber boot designed to protect porcelain fixtures.
Will this unclog a shower?
Hi Chris- This drain snake is ideal for toilets and floor traps.
You may be able to make it work, but I’d suggest a more traditional snake. The J bend in the end of this tool is really best suited for toilets.
My snake apparently detached from the rod and some spring is rattling around. It will not work anymore. Same issue as everyone else. How do I fix it?
I would call the people that delivered it installed it and accepted your payment with a smile. When you call them back tell them it's OK, because I need a new one because Itsbroken. No matter where you go, there you are. Good luck.

Instead of using the single purpose power handle, can a cordless drill work on this? Does it fit in a regular drill chuck or have an adapter you can get for it to work? The handle will probably work 95% of time, but for those times when a little extra power is nice to have, being able to use my drill would be nice. I dont need to buy any more single use power tools, no more space for them...
The handle is removable and you can use a impact driver to operate the snake. For what it’s worth I think the handle does fine without needing a power tool
