    Q:it works for hydroponics?
    by|Dec 20, 2021

    Answer This Question

A:  I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. It’s meant to feed the roots, whether the roots are in soil, sand, gravel or water. The fertilizer is dissolved in water so it should work fine

    by|Dec 25, 2021

A:  Miracle-Gro water soluble plant foods are not recommended for use in hydroponic gardening. Our water soluble plant foods do not provide all the micronutrients or trace elements needed by plants and only contains nitrogen in the form of urea.

Q:Is this okay for use on lawns?
        by|Oct 1, 2021
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  While this is a straight fertilizer that will not harm any turf grasses, we do not recommend using plant food on the lawn because the NPK ratio is not optimized to meet nutrient needs of a lawn. Both the Phosphorus and Potassium are too high and the Nitrogen is usually too low.

Q:I used this on my vegetables and everything dried up, now am scared to use it on my fruit trees. What did i do wrong?

          Answer This Question

A:  Best guess- too much fertilizer applied. Try watering vegetable heavily to dilute remaining fertilizer and they may come back. Dilute water soluble fertilizer according to directions and do not over apply. Use sparingly, especially on young plants.

A:  MIX IT WITH WATER FIRST. I USE 1/4 A PACKAGE TO A GALLON WATER.

A:  Damage can be done if applied when temperatures are over 85 degrees and the product is applied to the foliage of the plants. Please contact us for assistance at 888-295-6902.

A useful adjunct for any ornamental garden.
I use this food with a fertilizer injector as I have over 200 roses. It works just fine at accelerating new growth and producing bigger blooms weather permitting. When used properly it is an excellent product and I highly recommend it .I find it humorous that people use the product improperly and then complain about it and give negative reviews. It isn't particularly fair to do so. And no it has nothing to do with increasing soil odor at all lol.

                  Overfertilization Issue?
Is it likely I burned the roots (and killed the foilage) of a small, 1/4” caliper dogwood tree by applying an undiluted pound of Miracle Gro fertilizer in roughly a two square area around the tree I planted in mid spring? I did water the substance in. That’s exactly what I did, contrary to label instructions to significantly dilute Miracle Gro before applying. Now I’m trying to determine whether a neighbor’s poisoned my tree or whether I unwittingly did it myself.

                    MG is a winner!!
I use Miracle-Gro on my garden, trees and lawn. The results have always been excellent! Probably the only reason MG gets a bad rap, is because many people don't like/trust big companies. I used the product for 40 years and never been able to tell any negative results in the biology of the soil. I'll keep on using it. The cost is reasonable, it's effective, and easy to apply.

                      Great for house plants!!!
I have used for many years and love it. I use it many on my houseplants and am trying to figure out if it is 10-10-10 and if my Hastas outdoors would like it?

                        Can't recommend for "All Plants"
We used this product for the first time on all of our flower beds and potted plants last week. It says it is safe for all plants but within 24 hours our big beautiful impatient and coleus were leafless and dead. All of our other plants our fine, even the ones in the same pots as the dead ones. It worked faster than Roundup at killing them.

Miracle Grow Plant Food increased garden yield.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed a big increase in growth after I gave my garden the Miracle Grow Plant Food. I have never used a nutrient in my garden before but after using this I don’t think I can go back to not adding nutrients to bump up yield.

Absolutely floored at how well this plant food has been working. All of our plants have been blossoming and I’m just thrilled. So much green everywhere. I’ve been using this plant food this year and it’s been so easy. I use it every couple of weeks and use it on our slow growing plants and garden. I add the suggested amount to my watering can and give the plants a good soak. They just love it
