The 36 in. x 79 in. x 5 mm Rubber Flooring is ideal for storage, workshops, auto applications and much more. The 5 mm material provides excellent noise isolation, comfort and vibrations absorption. Made from recycled materials, this roll is abrasion resistant and requires low maintenance.
  • Black color finish will not fade with wear
  • 5 mm thickness x 36 in. width x 79 in. length
  • Appropriate grade for installation: On Grade
  • Can be installed over both concrete and wooden subfloors

    A:  This mat is not spongy and has a tough surface. I think it would work well with chair wheels. It can be cut to size with a sharp razor knife.

      A:  Yes, my desk chair rolls easily on it. However, the smell that this mat puts off will require at least 2-3 weeks in an open air (non living space). The headache you will get from the smell will be bad if it is not aired out properly.

              A:  Yes I think so. One caution is the edges are not beveled so although only 5 mm thick it could be a trip hazard if positioned in traffic.

                  I needed a waterproof, sandproof, mudproof, furproof (i.e. Labradorproof) cover over the second row floor in my new Honda Ridgeline. This mat fit the purpose exactly. I found it was easy to cut to size using a metal yardstick as a guide and a sharp razor knife (with gloves!). This mat is heavy duty rubber. It is not very spongy or overly flexible so I question the effectiveness for "anti-fatigue". Better than bare concrete but not too much! It is definitely non-skid as advertised. My perception is that it would be great for supporting equipment. It came in a tight roll and did not want to flatten out until I laid it on the deck in the sun and that did the trick. This mat cleans easily with a damp sponge. One last point, while it was indeed 36" wide it was only 78.5" long. That rounds up to 79 but it you need it exactly 79 you may come up a little short.

                    The functionality of this rubbery mat is great. We bought ours to use as a no-slip mat for our Husky that is getting up in age. For that purpose, it works great. Now, the reason for the 2 stars. The smell of this mat is just absolutely disgusting. We have had ours laid for over a week now and the smell has not dissipated at all. Fans on it, wiped it down with some disinfectant and even tried to rub some home-grown rosemary into it and the smell just will NOT go away. If you purchase this mat I highly suggest it not be in a living area at all and a place where it can air out for quite a long time before using it.
