    A:  Jagged edge on the black top must be depressed in to the lid to unengage from the small protruding blue point on the can that locks the lid to the can. Turn the lid at same time. Once you get passed the entire edge the lid will unscrew. On mine I had to use a flat nose screwdriver to push the jagged edge in. Thought about fileing the blue point off.

      A:  It's a twist cap. Push in the tabs and turn. If it doesn't work, you are turning in the wrong direction.
