These lights are SO COOL! They are a bright white and there are 7 settings from which to choose: 6 have various on/off modes and one is steady on. Once you get these lights, you go online and download the app (very easy to do). The app is free and talks you through the install. It's pretty idiot-proof. The best part is you can turn them on and off and switch modes with your phone (don't have to get up from your chair). The Glimmer, Twinkle and Sparkle settings are more intense turning off and on at various speeds and would be good for outdoors or very large indoor spaces. The Flash, Starry and Pulse modes cycle on & off more gently and are good for indoors. I wish I could show you them in action but I don't know how to upload a video. I've attached a photo so you can see that some of the lights (in the "Flash" mode) are on brightly and some are barely glowing. If you unplug the lights, give the app a few minutes to find them when you plug them back in. When you choose a mode, make sure you are choosing ONE mode; you have to turn one mode off before choosing another.

These LED cool white lights are shaped like a small globe. These cool white lights are very bright for their size. The bulbs are about 2.5” to 3” apart. The strand was very easy to unwrap and hang. The lights have many different flashing settings: Glimmer, Twinkle, Sparkle, Flash, Starry, Pulse, Steady and a combination of all these settings. There is a controller on the wire that can change these settings. There is also Android and iPhone applications you can download to allow you to control the lights from your phone. There is also a timer setting, 6 hrs on, 18 off. Put these up during the day and have already received compliments from neighbors.

Lights don't remember settings.
I purchased this set as it was the only cool white set available with a multifunction controller. The controller will not remember the function you chose the next time the lights go on. They simply revert back to the first setting which is a random combination of flashing. You also can't plug in another set into these as they have a special outlet on the end. The button on the controller also feels weird. Item was returned.

We verified and did the same as you with our set of lights and the flashing setting DID NOT revert back UNLESS you click on " Restore Light Settings to Default". We apologize, if you decide to give us another chance call us to provide assistance and a warranty replacement.

I really like these lights, I bought 15 boxes. I like that strong and durable and they have 6 different functions. It says that they can be connected to each other and they can but then they won't work, they have to be plugged in alone in order to work

Bought 3 strands to connect together. They did not function unless they were each plugged in separately. After a few days, only one strand was functional. Returned all 3.

Really disappointed
When you see an obvious misspelling in the accompanying app, you know you are dealing with a half baked product line. First off, it's hard to tell from the HD listing, you have to buy a starter and THEN up to 2 add on sets. This was a mistake I made. Then, one of the replacement sets I received worked for 10 mins then started to flicker and then just stopped working all together. The customer service is hard to get hold of and getting replacements take a while.

As much as I like these lights, they do not...
As much as I like these lights, they do not play well once strung together. I have two sets on my tree and I have to have them plugged in separately in order to a) have all the bulbs work, and b) have them in the same mode (steady vs speed of flashing).
