how much does it weigh and how are the ashes removed

Hi Wayne, Thank you for your interest in our Victoria Fire Pit. This fire pit weighs 40 pounds total. Ashes are caught in the bottom under the grill grate. The grate must be removed and ashes taken out through the open top.

Very disappointed

I absolutely loved the look of this. Required assembly, arrived with a hole in the screen about the size of a half-dollar (but no holes in the box and well packed with padding...). Figured maybe that was just an accident in packaging and could get it replaced, but then I put the rest together. The bottom did not fit square as intended because the legs weren't symmetrical. There was a significant amount of overspray all over the screen as well. The grate didn't fit because it wasn't made square. For $200 I couldn't believe how crummy it was. Called home depot who put me in touch with the company who makes it. I sent pictures and they told me these were expected variables in the product (even the hole!) and offered to give me a "garden gator" for my troubles, but no assistance with the actual product. I hope home depot reconsiders marketing a product that is expected to arrive in such shabby condition...product like this is definitely not worth $200.
