This was the cheapest glue in the PVC department. I used it for a non-plumbing project and it worked well.

          Not code compliant
I found out the hard way that you cannot glue black ABS pipe to white PVC pipe. The plumbing inspector told me that's not code compliant. So I don't really know what the purpose of this glue is since you're not allowed to glue those two things together. I had to go through my house and cut out all those joints and rejoin them with the rubber and steel clamp couplings. Just for context I had PVC underground coming up through my slab at all my drain points but above the slab I was intending on using ABS pipe in the walls and for my vent system and so forth. So if you think you're going to glue your black pipe to your white pipe, it won't pass inspection.
