Product Overview

Little Giant Arborvitae is a hardy evergreen shrub that naturally develops an attractive, globe-like shape. Valued for both its mature form and unique fan-shaped foliage pattern, these flattened evergreen fins give a soft, lacy appearance. Contrary to what 1 might assume from their spherical shape, Little Giant requires almost no pruning or maintenance. Ideal for borders and privacy fencing, Little Giant Arborvitae is a year-round point of interest in any application. Little Giant Arborvitae, botanical name Thuja occidentals Little Giant, grows in USDA zones 3 to 9, enjoying full sun and weekly watering best. It reaches a height and spread of 4 ft. with deep, forest green foliage. This is a highly adaptable shrub and grows quite well without any green thumb special attention. Its globe shaped form and lacy foliage has an exceptionally fine texture, making Little Giant a treat to see and touch.
  • Great foundation plant for landscaping
  • Very little pruning needed
  • Attractive natural globe shape
  • Beautiful, lacy foliage
  • Deep evergreen color lasts through all seasons

First, it seems to be a different variety of arborvitae. Foliage not same as the “ little giants” that l already own. I didn’t read closely enough, as description is accurate, but $42 for a 1 GAL arborvitae is pretty ridiculous. It did seem healthy and in good shape upon delivery.
