          Spray made blooms worse.
I had a super garden of petunias and geraniums going, until something began to eat them. I’m new at this, so trusted the Ortho brand and bought this spray, thinking it would help. Unfortunately the spray “spotted” all the blooms, AND did nothing for the problem. Turns out it was budworms…a common NW problem. And now the blooms are drooping, all within 36 hours of using this spray. I was so excited about my flowers this year. Now I feel like bawling.

This insect killer seems to have turned the health of my rose bushes around in about a week. The leaves had been holy and were beginning to yellow. A week after applying this to all of my rose bushes, they are now developing more leaves minus the holes. The leaves are now a rich green color on top of all of that. I am very happy with this product. I will add that while the roses are blooming you only want to spray the green leaves, not the flowers or the rosebuds as this could kill off the bee pollinators when they visit your flowers.

Last year, half of buds on my knockout tree were attacked by insects and came out very few blooms. Last month I found some "lacey" leaves on my knockout tree, also some eaten buds. I bought the Ortho insect killer and spray on the knockout tree right away. It took about half bottle to cover the whole tree. Now my knockout is blooming the first time this season and no insect found at all. I'm very satisfied with the results, especially compared with last year that I didn't apply any insect killer.

                Things are looking rosey now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roses we planted last spring have had little holes in most every leaf on the plant. Started using the Rose and Flower spray on it this summer. Now there are no holes to be found. We never saw the bugs that were eating the holes in it but they are gone now it seems.

                  Ortho® Insect Killer Rose & Flower Ready-To-Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have probably over fifteen rose bushes of all types throughout my yard and keeping the bugs off is a tiring evolution. Usually, the Japanese beetle does most of the damage. So I decided to take a leap of faith and try this solution. I had a few bushes that are currently being majorly destroyed by these bugs. Once I read the directions, I sprayed the area which has several beetles on it feasting away. Some chemicals you have to wait some time for it to work. I noticed right after I sprayed, the bugs started to go belly up and fall off the flower section of the plant. WOW!!! I needed to go to the store to get some more solution to spray the other rose bushes throughout my yard. So after several days, I went out to see if there were ANY bugs especially those Japanese beetles present. NO!!! The rose bushes look HEALTHY with new growth (shoots) appearing. NICE!!! REMEMBER there are GOOD and BAD bugs in the environment. One can also limit the amount of bugs on your plants or throughout the yard. Remember that the larva of the Japanese beetle hatches when the outside (soil) temperature reaches 60 degrees with the proper applications of chemicals to one's yard. These larvae also bring vermin like the moles which tear up the yard looking for those larvae (grubs). UGH!!! Every year I use the granular type as directed. It has cut down on the infestation of bugs especially the Japanese beetle. There are so many various Ortho Bug B Gone chemicals out there. They work!!!
