The 8 ft. x 16 ft. Cedar Garden in a Box with Deer Fence Kit takes Urban Gardening to a whole new level. Big in size and easy to access from all sides makes crowing crops for a family of 4 or more a breeze. Panelized Cedar Walls will easily assemble. Climbing plants, tomatoes or runner beans will have lots of room to grow. Every wall panel allows 21.5 in. D of growing height with an attached wire mesh screened frame. Total height of 33.5 in. will keep dogs and pesky pests away. Weeding and planting will be a breeze with easy access in and out of your garden bed through the door with an attractive latch. It's big in size and easy to access, but with the added deer fence to deter larger, pesky critters or just to grow your plants and crops bigger and taller. Hi James, sadly with Home Depot there is no option to purchase the fencing separate, the kit is sold complete.
Are wood pieces precut so just need at assemble?
The Raised Garden Bed is panelized as well as pre-cut pieces. No cutting required. Please check the assembly manual on line for further information or call the manufacturer at 888-658-1658
Is there netting across the top?
No, there is not.
How much garden soil will I need to fill the beds
Please check the assembly manual. A total about 3 cubic yards of varying types of quality of soil.
Is installation available
We are not sure if Home Depot offers an installation service. Outdoor Living Today works with a company who offers installation services.
Will it be pre build
The Garden Bed is manufactured with panelized walls. Please see the assembly manual in the spec sheet.
What is the amount of soil I would have to use in each cubicle (bed)? I do not want to have to utilize more than 16 1/2" of soil in any of the beds.
The assembly manual will give you the type of soil you need and the amount.
Does this unit have a cover for winter?
