The ridge is OK. It requires many more nails than suggested to hold it down. If you only use the recommended 24" or 16" spacing with rafters, then you will have an ugly, uneven, and non-uniform Ridge line. Not to mention the Ridge caps will look horrible.
I had to buy 3 tab shingles to complete the job. The 8" ridge caps looked funny with 2 inches of plastic sticking out on both sides.
I considered it but then after giving it a second look, I decided to go with the larger 3 tab shingle and then just cut the shingles individually.
I have a 43' ridge so I used 2 vent sure rolls about 3 packs of shingles. I had the city come do the final inspection and so long as it's flat, they don't care.
If they can stick a finger under that black vent, you will have to do the whole thing over.
I would find a better product if I had to do it over.
And being that I'm having solar panels installed, I think the contractors are going to ruin my ridge. They were sitting on the edge taking their measurements, and it's not meant for that.... So I might have to replace it but oh well, I'm not that fond of it anyway.

Was not the quality I expected. Owen's has too many products that are labeled and described the same, but the products are definitely different. This one seems cheap and flimsy, while labeled and packaged the same as the higher quality one.
