Product Overview

The Pest Offense Electronic Indoor Pest Control system is simple to use and safe around family and most pets. The patented system sends electronic pulses through the wiring of the house to drive pests from the home, so they can't feed or nest there. Random digital cycling prevents pests from adapting to the pulses, and one repeller unit is effective for one level of an average-sized home. To use, just plug the unit into any 110-volt outlet and let it go to work. A surge protector safeguards against voltage fluctuations and the indicator light doubles as a handy nightlight. The repeller is also EPA registered, FCC compliant and UL listed. It is safe for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, reptiles and hermit crabs. It is not recommended in homes with hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, minks, chinchillas, tarantulas and other similar pets.
  • Proven efficient on mice, rats and roaches
  • Easy-to-use electronic pest control without hazardous chemicals, pesticides or traps

Good Afternoon. I am not sure what pest control system your landlord has supplied you with but I can tell you that our device which is called PEST OFFENSE does not nor has it ever been advertised to work on snakes. The packaging lists snakes as one of the pets it is safe to have. Our device is designed for mice, rats and roaches nesting within the walls and is not designed for the control of anything outside in the yard. If you have our device it has a night light at the bottom and a green light on the right that flashes all the time and a green light on the left that cycles off and on in random patterns.

I can’t say that it will definitely repel squirrels, but I had squirrels in my attic about a year ago. After about two weeks or less they were gone. I figured if they found a way in once they could get in again, but I never had another problem with them coming in. My repeller works exactly like the description says and I have had mine plugged in for around 4 years. I would not want to be without one in my home.

Mine is an older unit with a green and red light. What do the two lights indicate?

The left LED will cycle on & off in a random pattern indicating that the unit is creating the repelling field within the walls. The right LED light blinks on & off continuously indicating the unit is receiving power. The larger green light is a night light and stays on continuously.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't get rid of anything. I found a mouse actually sitting right under it. Didn't phase it at all! I don't recommend it.

Thank you for your question. The PEST OFFENSE works on insects inside the walls only such as mice, rats, roaches, silver fish and does not help with things outside of the walls.

I bought 2 of the Pest Offense & put 1 in the kitchen & 1 upstairs. After realizing my dog's food was disappearing. I found piles of dog food stashed away in piles. I waited 3 weeks 2 write this review. The units have a big light which comes in handy & 2 smaller blinking lights which change frequency so the critters don't get used 2 them. I could tell a difference right away. Then, I saw evidence of straggler (s) around, so I ordered a humane trap, a metal one & will b reviewing that as well as I'm very happy w/both purchases. I do suggest u try both, the Pest Offense & a trap just in case of stragglers.

We live in a rowhouse and when one person has mice we all have mice. New neighbors moved in and here comes mickey. So far the product appears is working. No evidence of mice anywhere (droppings on my stove or running across the floor) after plugging in device the first day. The nightlight is not overly bright. I love that you need only one for each level of your home. The device does not bother our dog, no humming or noise. I love this product so far!

Good so far
After hearing some gnawing and scratching within some interior walls, I bought 2 of these electronic repellers and have since heard nothing. It seems the varmints have left the premises. I will definitely buy again.
