The Carlton Mailbox is considered a "B" size / style mailbox.
Does this mailbox has two holes or slots in the bottom to put the screws to attach it to the post ?
The Carlton Mailbox has 4 holes along the bottom edge of both the left and right side of the mailbox for "side" mounting. It has an additional 4 holes in the bottom of the mailbox for "floor" mounting. These holes are positioned to work with the vast majority of mailbox posts on the market.

Help! I bought a vinyl post with an arm but no mounting kit. I have no idea how to put this on the arm which is 19” depth and 4” wide. What mounting kit worked for you? I think I need a metal one. Thanks sm! (P.s I have the zippity classica mailbox post)

Can I mount it to an existing postal pro post using the same mounting holes.
You should be able to. Without knowing which post you have I can't say for certain or know if your bolts will be long enough.
