Q:Is this pressure washer strong enough to remove paint on a brick wall and cement floor?
      by|Aug 6, 2023
      1 Answer
      Answer This Question

A:  With our red (0 degree) nozzle and yellow (15 degree), paint can be removed, although it does not cover a large area. If some paint remover is applied before-hand, this machine will be a very useful tool to remove the paint.

        Q:Can you wash vinyl side
        by|Aug 2, 2023
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  Yes, you can wash vinyl slabs with our machine. We recommend starting off with the green 25 degree nozzle and standing at an adequate distance away to ensure that no damage is caused. If you are in need of more pressure you will be either able to get closer to the vinyl being washed, or you can also change the spray tip to a more powerful one. Your own judgement is needed in order to ensure no damage is caused.

Awesome little machine - easy to use
Truly an excellent example of a good quality and reliable tool that is easy to pre-assemble and so easy to use. I have used it on 3 driveways and 1 large patio, such a big difference after power washing with it. I plan to use this a lot to clean. I bought the separate attachment for floor cleaning, will try that out the next few weeks.

I really like this electric pressure washer. It is very easy to use. I really like the 360 degree swivel wheels. The wheels make it very easy to move around while you are working. It is very light and a small size so fits anywhere. There are four different tips that switch out with a snap to give you more spray patterns. There is a lot of power in this small machine.

Small and Mighty electric power washer. This Powerplay SPYDER electric power washer is very compact but delivers a powerful 2000 PSI at 1.4 gallons per minute. It is very compact, yet has built in storage for all its component parts. For effective storage, you do have to disassemble the wand and hose. But assembly and disassembly is easy - just snap parts together and thread things together, no tools required. The wheels are well spaced and the sprayer rolls easily and is well balanced. It has a generous 35 foot power cord and 15 foot sprayer hose. The sprayer has an on-board detergent tank, and the low pressure soap nozzle as many washers do, but this also has a high pressure foam cannon attachment that I much prefer. The sprayer also comes with quick release spray nozzles in 0, 15, and 25 degrees spray angle. The zero degree one would bore holes in soft wood! There is convenient on-board storage for all spray nozzles. This sprayer does a great job in quickly cleaning our sidewalks and patios. We are very happy with this light, compact, powerful little electric power washer.

This Spyder 2000 PSI 1.4 GPM cold water pressure washer by PowerPlay is an excellent quality, easy to use tool. It requires some assembly but no tools are needed and shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to put together. The manual is well illustrated, easy to understand and I definitely recommend reading it before getting started. Putting this pressure washer together is real simple. The electric cord is 35 feet long, water output hose is 15 1/2 feet long and the spray wand (the manual calls it a "lance") is about 15 inches long. This unit weighs about 25 lbs. and it draws 13 amps of AC power while operating. I like the upright design that allows easy storage and the fact that it has wheels that make moving it around easier. I have a heavy gas-powered pressure washer that works well but it requires much more prep time get it ready to use and it is real loud. This Spyder electric pressure washer takes only two or three minutes to get into action and it is fairly quiet. The pump turns off if you release the spray handle and only turns back on when you squeeze the handle. I used this unit to clean a small area of bricks on my home's exterior and also to clean the wood decking on my utility trailer using the green and orange spray nozzles and it worked very well. This is a mid-sized pressure washer so don't expect for it to match the higher powered gas pressure washers. It will do a good job but will require a little longer time. There is an on-board soap/chemical tank to allow use of cleaning agents and also included is a wand-mounted "foam cannon" that snaps into place instead of the spray nozzle. It holds soap/cleaning liquid and generates foam when he pressure washer's trigger is pulled. You can foam down your cleaning project then quickly change back to your high pressure nozzle to complete the job. A mid-sized pressure washer such as this can be used to clean bricks, concrete, car tires/wheels, decking, muddy yard equipment, and lots of other things. Just be sure not to aim the high-pressure spray toward people, animals or any other delicate surface. I recommend this product. It is easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to store and doesn't take up much room.

Great little pressure washer. I plan to use it on the car as well as in/on the home. It has quite a few tips that you can use for all sorts of spraying and washing. I tested it on one of my vehicles and it worked pretty well. It moves around very well with the versatile wheels. The electrical cord is very long and tends to make the washing easily attainable.

Initially, I assumed this was going to be an ‘ok’ product that I could potentially use the pressure wash a limited amount of things. After my first use, I immediately changed my mind and realized I had a very underrated pressure washer. I’ll start off with assembly. This pressure washer does not require any tools to assemble! All components are either slid or pushed into place. Assembly time took a total of 10 minutes and that included picking up the packaging material and taking it out. Tools that impress me tend to be tools that the designer has thought through even the smallest of things and this pressure washer fits that category. Everything that comes with the pressure washer, such as 4 spray tips, wand handle, detergent attachment, etc. all has its own storage spot on the pressure washer. I tested a spot on my driveway where some penetrating sealer was accidentally spilled. Needless to say it would be unrealistic to think any pressure washer could do anything about that, but you can see what this small, but powerful pressure washer can do in the pictures.

Don’t let the little size fool ya! It’s a terrific machine! Assembles easily by sliding on all the wheels, brackets and putting the hoses and sprayer parts on it. None of the water connections leak! Don’t add quick connects to the garden hose connection as they would leak. It’s similar in size and shape to a small shop vac. The entire thing is barely knee high, so you must lean down to grab the handle to roll it or it follows you by tugging the hose. All 4 wheels have foot brakes so you can keep it from rolling down hills. There are rubber pegs on the back of the machine to hold the spray heads that was not shown or mentioned in the manual. There’s no little bin or pocket for the extra washers and wire head cleaner (that was tucked into the manual), so I put them in a small zipper bag and put into the larger zipper bag with the manual just tucked on the machine when stored. There is a soap dispenser bottle that attaches to the head of the hose that has instructions, but there is also this container built into the machine near the head storage that has a cap. It is not shown or explained at all in the manual, so is that a 2nd but larger soapy water dispenser that the foaming head is used with? IDK! It comes with only 3 different spray width heads (plus foaming head), and one is a pin spray, so only two fan widths- 15 and 25 degrees. I use it to clean siding, windows, fences, and pavement and I’ve only ever used 15 and 25-degree sprays anyway. A wider spray might be good for car washing. The spray heads have universal metal quick-connects, so you can always purchase a 50-degree spray head for it any time. The power cord is plenty long at 30ft. and they say not to use an extension cord. The GFI plug is big and directional so it might not fit into all exterior outlets with doors on them. If you are new to electric power washers, note that when you first turn it on, the engine runs momentarily then shuts off. After that, the motor generally only runs when you pull the trigger. That’s normal for these. Also don’t expect this type of power washer to compare to any gas model. They don’t, but they are much easier to use and get typical household jobs done easily, just slower. The 25-degree spray very quickly removes thick black mildew from my concrete, and moss from flagstones. I hold it between 3 and 6 inches from the ground depending on the stain. It cleans siding with no effort at all from a much farther distance. This is built way better than my comparable Ivation 2200PSI/1.8GPM and seems a bit more powerful while using fewer gallons per minute at 1.4GPM, which is wonderful! I’m impressed by the high quality, ease of use, clear instructions and most importantly, the cleaning power of this tiny little electric power washer!

Can the POWERPLAY SPYDER dance? Yes it can! What a concept to not need to stop pressure washing to move the washer. All you need to do is pull it along to your next project that needs to be cleaned. The SPYDER is so small and light that it can easily be moved around your work area. The SPYDER was so easy to assemble that it took less than 10 minutes without using the instructions. I noticed the build quality was top notch and everything fit together the way it was designed. The use of metal on the water outlet and inlet are appreciated for durability. Once assembled I went at it on a few stubborn oil stains, paint and dried concrete. The SPYDER made easy work of everything and the best thing was that I was able to move it around seamlessly with zero effort unlike traditional pressure washers. Everything that you need is cleanly stored on the SPYDER so set up for your next cleaning project will take minutes. I can tell that the SPYDER will be my go to pressure washer because the results speak for itself.

Electric pressure washers have enough power for most things I do around the house-- wash cars, clean concrete, etc. They typically aren’t great for stripping paint or other high pressure jobs. What I like about the Spyder is that it has four wheels which allow it to roll along with you and you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. I also like the soap dispenser that allows you to adjust the flow. Some other brands don't have the ability to adjust this and the soap all comes out too quickly. Also, 2000 psi is a little more pressure than you typically get from an electric pressure washer. Finally the hose seems like it is made of a decent material that won’t become a tangled mess. Some of the cheaper pressure washers have hoses that become a knotted tangled mess that you have to fight with every time you use them. This one doesn't seem to have that problem for whatever reason. I guess if I was to change anything, I would like a longer handle to pull it around with.
