No adhesive. It does stick to itself because of static electricity attraction. (Static cling). Best to finish off the ends with a bit of clear shipping tape.

The wrap was fine. The container made it more difficult to wrap things than it should have been.

The Pratt Retail Specialities Furniture Stretch Wrap is handy for covering furniture and other items and providing protection from damage caused by moving, or just daily use when you need a buffer against abrasions. It could be a little wider, but otherwise, it is a good, stretchable material that creates a secure bond when applied to an object. Then, it easily cuts or tears to complete the wrapping of the object being protected. It is a handy product to have around the house to use for storing items. Wrapping it around a storage box provides protection against unwanted moisture. I also used it to wrap around plastic saw horses when I found they were leaving unsightly marks on painted wood I was working with. The plastic wrapped securely around the saw horse and prevented the painted wood from being damaged.

I use stretch wrap at work all the time and this stuff is not even in the same ball park. First off, it's less than .3 mils thick (28 gauge). A little less thickness than kitchen cling wrap. The "cheap stuff" I use at work is 60 gauge (.6 mils). The good stuff up to 120 gauge( 1.2 mils). This wrap sticks to itself just like any true cling wrap, so you need to be careful or you get a balled up mess. The handles are a joke. I would rather just have the cardboard roll without the little plastic insert handles. You can't apply this stuff with one hand because you need to grab both sides of the roll to have a chance of getting it to reel off correctly. It is probably ok for wrapping stuff that isn't too valuable but I would really think twice about trying to protect good furniture.

This roll of furniture plastic wrap is great. The main feature that I love the most is the plastic grips on each end of the roll. I love these because normally on rolls of plastic you have to let your hands drag on the inside of a cardboard tube, which either hurts your hands or in my case, feels like nails on a chalkboard. The plastic seems tough and I have no complaints.

Very useful for wrapping furniture. I am not practiced at this and had some problems with it partially tearing when changing direction. I might try a thicker ply next time.
