A: Hello! This drain does not include any cutouts for faucets, it will simply cover the drain opening in your kitchen, bar, or utility sink. I think you may have meant to ask this question on a different product…. If that is the case, please reach out to us directly and we can further assist you. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
A: The question doesn’t make any sense. This item is a drain basket.
A: Yes it does. However, the finish does NOT hold up! We're about 3 years in with ours and the finish is completely faded out and I'm going to have to replace it, because it looks like crap!
A: You can use your existing Sinkerator, because you can't see it unless you look under the sink. I replaced our rim & basket that way two years ago. However, don't be too harsh with cleaning the new rim. We had two family members living with us for a few months this spring and they were not as careful as us with cleaning the sinks. The result was that the dark outer surface of the rim has been partially rubbed off exposing the underlying, brighter bronze.
A: I don't think that you have to replace the disposal. I would think that if you were to compare the threads on this strainer bottom and a sinkerator bottom and see if they match. Then you know what will work or not. I don't have a disposer with mine, so I can't tell you positively. John
A: Hello - If you would like to connect to your Insinkerator disposal, you would need the drain with the model number D-130ORB. This drain is not capable of connecting to any garbage disposal, it is simply a basket strainer. You do not have to purchase a new disposal to get the oil rubbed bronze color in the sink. Please let us know if you have any additional questions, thanks!
A: You don't need plumbers putty. Use a clear silicone for kitchen and bath.
A: No I believe it came with everything I needed and was easy to install.
A: Hello - We recommend using our color matching silicone (C900-ORB) to install this drain. If you choose not to use our silicone, we do not recommend using plumbers putty, but a clear installation silicone. Please let us know if you have any additional questions, thanks!
A: No. They seal from the bottom
A: I used plumbers putty but caulk would also work (you just need it to dry first before using.
A: I have not had any issue with my drain ( same one as in the picture / your description). I have had it for about a year now and it looks almost like new. I rinse the sink out after each use, but I do not wipe it down and have never used anything but dish soap on the sink or drain.
A: No. I clean my sink and drains after using them.
A: I haven’t - we have had ours in for at least a year and it is great!
A: Hello - Please contact our customer service department for options at firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you! Please let us know if you have any other questions, thanks!
A: Try soaking in vinegar. It may be hard water deposits. I have hard water and have had these for 2 years. I haven’t had any build up on them.
A: We noticed the build up but thought it was our hard water causing it.
