Product Details

Create beautiful patios and walkways with ProFlex Paver Edging, a durable hardscape restraint product made from construction grade materials. Use ProFlex Paver Edging to secure concrete, clay, brick, stone, travertine, plastic, resin, or rubber pavers in patio, walkway, or driveway applications. ProFlex Paver Edging is ready to use for straight sections as-is. To create curves, simply cut the spines where a bend is needed and the piece becomes flexible. For optimal results and performance, follow standard paver installation methods, including the use of paver sand or gravel, paver base, and anchoring spikes, which are sold separately.

Q:Why do these say 6ft when they are 6ft 1/2in long.

Answer This Question

A:  Hello Dash and thank you for your question. We adhere to a dimensional tolerance to accommodate manufacturing processes. The edging being six feet and one-half inch is within that tolerance. If you need the edging to be exactly 6ft, you can cut the edging to size using hacksaw or industrial shears. If you do cut the edging, be sure to follow all safety precautions such as cutting gloves and safety glasses.

      A:  Hello Jeff, we have not tested the paver edging on top of concrete. As this sounds like a nonstandard installation, we cannot recommend a method of securing the paver edging to concrete or other solid surfaces. Thank you for your question!

            A:  Hello and thank you for your question. This can be done with this product and is a widely accepted method of installation. If you are going to do this, it is important to remember to use leveling sand throughout the installation process (including on top of the tabs) to ensure that your pavers are all the same height.               A:  You could but why? I think you would have a difficult time balancing the paver sitting on top of a spike head. Basically, the spike head would act as a rock under the paver. Pavers need to lay flat on the under preparation material.

                A:  We recommend using 4 spikes per 6-foot section: 1 spike on each end to secure the piece, and 2 additional spikes to anchor the body of the edging piece.                   I have used the edging now on 2 projects. Sturdy edging and easy to use. Can be cut on bottom to allow for bending to make angles. I have used on a circle patio and for separating lawn from decorative area of yard. Would definitely use again. Bought accompanying stakes which worked great to anchor in place.
