Looks Good
Hey Ladies and Gentlemen im back here again with another review, this time i will be reviewing QEP Diamond Hole Saw, so i havent used this nore do i have a use for it at the moment but they sent me it to look at, lets start with this bit of information, im familiar with QEP products, i think they are a decent product at the price point, more of a value based bargain product but that doesnt mean theyre bad, actually when i was shipped this product i was quite surprise it looked like such a high quality product, im trying to find a job that needs holes cut but have yet to get hired for that, honestly looking at this product i think i would do a find job of drilling in a countertop.

Really well made, cuts cleanly and fast
This diamond impregnated hole saw from Qep works exceptionally well on tiles, ceramics, and glass. The best thing about it is how well the diamonds are bonded to the drilling edge. I have yet to see any evidence that the edge has lost any diamonds. Also, the finish on the hole saw itself is durable. As is the overall construction. There’s really nothing negative I can think to say about it. If I had to pick something, there’s no size marking on it, potentially making it difficult if you have two saws close in size. They should add the size and part number to every saw, not just the larger ones. It has a one year warranty to cover defects and is made in the UK. I can’t say whether the claim it is 50% faster is a valid one, or what exactly they are comparing it to with the claim, but I can say it performs like a high quality professional grade hole saw. My profession involves drilling with traditional hole saws, so I cannot say how well it’ll hold up being used every day, but QEP is a solid brand and I’d be surprised if it doesn’t hold up like a professional tool should. Definitely worth giving these a try and, if you are a DIYer doing renovations or upgrades to your bathroom, kitchen, etc, you should definitely check these out. Using diamond tipped hole saws will make your work go faster and easier.

Smooth
The holes created with this grinder bit are wonderful. I used the grinder and a mostly dry tool, occasionally dropped some water on the tile as I grinded the hole. Starting off slowly is key so that you can score the tile so it doesn't slip around, then once you get a deep enough outline you can increase the speed. The tool attaches to most grinders without any fuss. It does have a threaded inside so you could likely use a hole saw bit to use your power drill instead of the grinder.

Fast cutting diamond tipped hole saw!
I needed to cut a hole in my backsplash for a potfiller spout. The hole diameter needed to be ¾” so I made the hole a bit bigger with this 1” wetdry diamond hole saw by QEP. Since this blade didn’t require it to be wet, I attached via my grinder and it made for light work. A tip is to have a shop vac handy for the offcuts and dust. The precision with this thing is amazing. Always start with a quick trigger pull at an angle so it bites into the material then level it out. Once the hole is started this thing makes quick work of it. Very impressive.

Easy to ues and well made
I used this today to cut holes in ceramic tile 3/8" thick. I have used a wet hole saw before with a drill and its messy. So I wanted to try this dry cutting, I installed it on my Grinder and that was a piece of cake could not get easer. I started the first hole at a angle and then straightened out but keep rotating it and this cut easy but I did walk a little. So I started the second hole again I started at a angle and straightened out but I still walled a little because I was rotating it but not as much as the first hole. So I wanted to see if I could make a clean hole or not. So I started the third hole again started at a angle and straightened out, But this time after I straightened out I held it stright. Well suprise a nice clean hole no walking and no chip out. I also made all three hole in less then 5 minutes. Very little mess just sweep up with a dustpan and brush. I also like how easy it was to remove the bit from the grinder, For me this is the way to go no more drill hole saws for me.

This is a nice hole saw
This is a nice hole saw. It is threaded on one end to fit onto a grinder. There are flat slots shaped into the base of the hole saw to tighten the hole saw onto the grinder. There are no directions packaged with the hole saw, but you can scan a QR code that is on the side of the package or go online to get directions. I have put the online directions in one of the attached photos. It is easy to attach to your grinder. It is optional to use water with the hole saw, but can aid with keeping the cutting edge cool. This hole saw exceeds my expectations.
