Each 10-pound bag of QUIRKETE® Concrete Mix yields approximately 0.075 cubic feet. For an area of 42 feet by 50 feet, you will need 2334 10 pound bags for every inch of thickness. At the minimum thickness for this product of 2”, you will need 4668 10-pound bags. Yields will vary with waste, uneven subgrade, etc.

How many bags would I need to pour a 4 foot by 8 foot by 6 inches deep slab?

QUIKRETE® Concrete Mix can be mechanically mixed in a barrel type concrete mixer or a mortar mixer. Make sure to select a mixer size most appropriate for the size of the project and allow at least 1 cubic feet of mixer capacity for each 80 lb bag of QUIKRETE® Concrete Mix to be mixed at one time.
