I have a cement statue that I used plaster of paris on so it is different in color as opposed to the cement, so I was going to prime white first but wanted to restore it to its cement look, can I use this product once i paint with white primer and still get a decent cement resemblance?
Asked by: nikki
It’s not likely. Cement color is not a paint or stain, so unless it is mixed with the plaster and allowed to see up WITH the plaster it will wash off with water i.e. rain etc. it would probably be better to use grey spray primer to put a couple coats on the patch, letting each coat dry for a couple hours between applications, then coat the whole figure with the grey primer to give it a fresh cement look.
