Not bad
Normally I buy from local hardware store, different brand. Was scared after reviews here. Maybe I got lucky? Filled area in carport that was removed during sewer project. After 2 days and a dusting over area, mildly firm. I did use gas tamper, hand tamp in tighter areas. 2 weeks now. Quite firm. It can still be dug up with ease. My 2 year old tries daily. Being cold patch, it needs ample time to stiffen up. Hope it lasts. Good luck to the rest of you. Patience is needed.

Overall, good product to use in a pinch. I had to fill in some cut lines and a 3 inch hole from a plumbing repair in my driveway. The product matched the surrounding asphalt and went on easily. Draw back is that it has a consistency of molasses and took several weeks to harden. During that time, the product was smeared a little by vehicle traffic.

    Does not dry
My husband worked like a dog to fill in the span between our garage and driveway that settled. This stuff is still squishy and a month! This product should be removed from the shelves. It doesn’t dry. I wish we could get our money back. Now we have to dig it all up and fix another problem. What a mess!

I bought some old stuff that had been sitting there and it felt hard already and looked strange when I opened it and it still works great. I had a problem with it sticking to the tamper more than the road depression it was going in but after using my sneaker and waiting 5 days it's a solid sheet. All the rock in it is 1/4 inch so it's quite hard to feather when you just lay it on top. They should offer a 1/8 version too.

      Doesn't set hard
I used this to bridge the gap between the road an curb side driveway cut it. I followed all directions for application. It's been over 4 weeks and none of it is set hard, it's all still loose pieces. Almost like aquarium rocks just covered in black goo. It still sticks to my car tires and i can move it with my foot.

Works well to form a ramp at the curb for heavy trucks hauling dirt etc.. as they have to jump the concrete street curb to access the site. Protects the curb and stays put longer than other materials.

Where my driveway meets the road, it had cracks and mosaicked badly enough that I pulled out some of the bigger pieces and tried filling back in with mortar mix(then sealed over). For whatever reason(s), that "fix" didn't last. I wanted a better solution so I bought this product to fill in those areas after pulling and washing out those areas as best I could. The biggest hole was maybe 4"X6". I read the description - watched the video - but I wanted to try something different. I packed this stuff in tight using a 2X4, but it's very loose in the bag. It's almost like an oily liquid mixed in with small gravel. I was expecting something with more tar in it - gooeyer. It was always my intention to seal over this asap and I did...like the next day and even being in the hot July sun(+90 degrees) it wasn't anymore set than when I first put it in. I wanted something that water wouldn't get into in the Winter and crack open again. I doubt this will work even with an extra thick coating of sealer over it. Probably the wrong product for my need. I did, just for an experiment, pour a little over into the corner of the driveway just to see how it would set up.

Two weeks since being put down and its still not dry. Used exactly as directed at the bottom of my driveway and its still wet. Guests drove on it and their tires spun and walked on it and it got all over their shoes. Waste of a lot of money!!!!

Do not buy this product. In an effort to keep it from hardening in the bag they have created a product that will also not harden in open air. It's as soft and mushy after 2 weeks as it was when it was installed per the mfr. instructions. Total waste of money and time. Headed to HD now for a refund.
