        Answer This Question

A:  It is possible to drill into a fully cured application of QUIKRETE Epoxy Concrete Repair that is bonded well to a sound substrate. We would recommend waiting 7 days after application before drilling into it.

          works great, tough to use
Dont expect this to be fast or easy, youll need a ratcheting caulkgun or a big c clamp to help. I always tie a strap around the handle and place a prybar on the knot, then tie a knot on top of that, and twist it to dispense the epoxy.

            Deceptive packaging
There's a plunger inside that uses up half the volume of the cylinder. If you eyeball how much you'll need going off a normal tube of caulk, you will come up way too short. Considering how much this stuff costs, it's a huge rip off.

Easy to app to concrete fake rock. It had fell off the kitchen island after being used with a mastic product. This epoxy was easy to apply and held to the plywood backing after keeping pressure on with a brace.

I used this product to seal the seam between a house foundation and a new(er) driveway pour. I think it worked out very well and the seam is nice and clean. I expect it will keep the water from running down the seam. The only downside is that at almost $20 a tube, it's expensive stuff! One tube was good for about 12-15 linear feet or so. I needed about 1.5 tubes for my use and they are single use only because you wouldn't be able to reuse that spout after the product sets. You might plan in advance to have secondary driveway cracks and chips prepped so that you can use up your leftovers appropriately.

Dispensed smoothly and bonded well. I recommend dispensing a little bit before screwing on the mixer tip. The first little bit had air-hardened and might have clogged the nozzle if I hadn't done that. I suspect that might have happened to some of the people who claimed it was increadibly hard to dispense. I used the Husky high-leverage calking gun and didn't have any problem, even on the low-thrust setting.

A little harder to apply than I expected. It required a stronger squeeze on the caulking gun handle than I expected, but my caulking gun might not be heavy-duty enough for this product. The material did a good job of anchoring the broken concrete pieces back together. Would try again with a HD caulking gun.

Only able to get about half the product out even though I was using a brand new/professional grade applicator. Ended up bending the push plate/rod so bad had to throw both away.

Super easy and works really well.
I used this to fill my carport concrete slab and it worked like a charm. Heres a good tip: if you use more than one tube, use the empty tubes tip on the new tube. It still has a good amount in it already that cant be used once the tube goes empty.
