I only wrapped a 4x4 post, but I don't see why not. It comes in 4 sections. It's most likely that the connections will be the same type, so would be interchangeable. It helps to have more than one person to push the pieces together, although it isn't impossible to get them apart--we had to have another try! Good luck.

Can I wrap 4- 4”x6” posts by using Parts from 2- 4”x4” and 2-6”x6” post wraps?

Yes, one will snap into the other.

Are these wraps available in brown?

I couldn't find them available in brown. I purchased the white ones, and used spray paint for plastic outdoor furniture to make them brown! It worked very well, and wasn't difficult at all.

Yes! You can add railings to the 4x4 post later if you want to. Just use the railing connection parts to the 4x4 posts. That's all! Easy!

It can actually wrap around a post that is attached at the top and bottom. That's how I used it. I cut it to length with a hacksaw. It comes in two pieces, and you clamp them around the post, then snap them together. It helps to have two people.

Protects posts and looks professional
Vinyl Flat Design Post Wrap Outstanding product. Difficult to snap into grooves IF the post is in a tough spot, as in the attached photos. End result is very satisfying. Finishes off our porch and protects those (previously) exposed posts.

When we decided to replace out circa 1988 pressure treated deck with Trex, I knew we had to do something to dress up the old painted 4”x4”x8’ support posts. The deck is 8’ off the ground with a dry space underneath, where our most used entrance to the house is. It wouldn’t be as easy as with new 4x4s where we could just slip a PVC or vinyl sleeve over the wood, so started shopping around for options and found these RDI four-piece wraps. I watched a few YouTube videos and it seemed pretty easy, so I ordered one to try it out. It went together pretty slick! I ordered six more and voila! There are definitely a few tricks to make things go easier. An extra set of hands really helps, as does at least two quick-release type gripping tools to squeeze the pieces together. Since I was installing the wraps over existing bolt heads, brackets, and other hardware, a Dremel tool came in really handy to relieve some areas on the inside of each piece for a better fit. The material was very easy to work with. We installed powder-coated steel braces right over them and the area below our deck looks great now! My only complaint is that the packaging is pretty flimsy. I picked up one in the store and had the other six delivered, and the cardboard was in rough shape by the time they arrived. It had collapsed and there were quite a few scuffs on the wraps. They cleaned up okay, but it would be nice if the packing were sturdier to withstand shipping better.

I had to trim a few inches to make this item fit in the front step of my house. But overall the quality, finish and rigidity were great! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for this option for their home.

Perfect solution to the porch remodel I am doing. Looks better than I anticipated. Found the installation to be a little wonky for the first one but soon developed a method to smooth out the rest of the units and they went in without a hitch.

They look good and hopefully will last. We got tired of white washing our existing wooden posts and found these online. We got the post wraps and the bottom mouldings for 5 porch posts. My son cut and installed them. I don't think I could have done it on my own. It took him a couple of hours. Our wooden posts were square at the top and bottom and round (turned on a lathe) in the middle and ranged form 89 to 90 inches. The bottom moulding on the corner post extended past the edge of the porch but that doesn't bother me.

easy to use.
Looks good, easy to wrap, remember not to compress until after fitting all pieces around post loosely. Then compress. Clean line, we put a vinyl porch rail in between, did a 1/2 " adjustment to both ends of the rail this looks much neater than the wood one we replaced.
