About This Product

Now cut metal like never before Introducing the new RIDGID Diamond Cut Blade, with up to 70x more life. Now a single blade can outlast as many as 70 abrasive discs, giving you the lowest cost per cut. It's great on rebar, copper pipe, galvanized pipe, conduit, square steel tube and angle steel. Engineered with the Diamond Cut Advanced Metal Cutting Technology, this RIDGID blade will rip through hard dense metal and mild steel at fast cutting speed and will make quick work of all your metal cutting jobs. Unlike traditional abrasive discs that shrink with use, the new RIDIGID Diamond Cut Blade maintains its size and consistent cutting depth, even after a thousand cuts. No more changing discs every few cuts. Fewer blade changes mean less downtime, allowing you to finish your job much sooner. The solid steel core makes it safer to use and you'll get fewer sparks, dust and debris too.

          Great Product, Needs Instructions
Product is great BUT Rigid would eliminate frustration, safety issues and most negative reviews if they just included simple instructions. The gold/silver rings are MEANT to come off (the blade isn’t broken) and to allow adjusting to different devices.

Great for cutting cast aluminium. Needed to make a couple of accurate cuts into a piece of cast aluminium and the standard cutting wheels didn't leave as clean of a cut. This diamond blade did that trick.

It cost a tiny $12 for this blade. I dry cut through a 24” wide by 3 CM thick soapstone countertop twice and the blade still has several more good cuts left in it. Very impressive! Also very dusty but worth every penny it cost me.

This blade literally fell apart on second use. First trial was a piece of three eigths rebar which it cut fine though somewhat slowly. The second trial was a quarter inch aluminum angle which it only got about a quarter inch into when the wheel just started free wheeling. The center arbor ring just came out?! No warning for what could’ve been a very bad accident. Fortunately I was going slow or that wheel at full speed could have shattered. I think it was a fluke manufacturing error. I will get a replacement.

Garbage! Tin Foil Cutting Zero Stars
I tried to use on a piece of 10 Ga.mild Steel. Its Lucky to cut tinfoil. It might work on a 22 gauge but don't even try it with a 11 or 10 gauge. All it did was burn the diamonds off the blade and burned the metal. cried itself to Death

                      buy this instead!
if you cut metal with a regular 4.5" disc, buy this instead. 2 solid days of cutting 16 g sheet steel and this blade hasn't noticed the work. it hasn't exploded like a regular disc is prone to. i would have gone through 4 or 5 discs doing what i just put this thing through.

Wonderful product. Demolished a bathroom(drywall, nails, pipes, even some wood) cut a flat bar in half and boron carbide master lock... the finish is worn but diamond edge is still there. Has not lost size or diamonds on that blade. Bought 8 of them and doubt I will ever buy a carbide wheel again. Did burn one of them out.. only after about 15 cuts on a 3" cast iron waste pipe.. They really do cut faster and with less sparks. If you cut metal with a grinder, buy these.
