Hi I am a diy person redoing my bathroom tub/shower with 12 x24 tiles, first time ever using large tiles. I wanted them to be squeegee smooth. I decided on the RIDGID LevelMax Tile Anti-Lippage(1/16”). The system was easy to use and the results were great. Only cost me $50 and I have lots of spacer for the next job. I would recommend this product.

Order them online. We ordered 16 bags because we love them so much. We tried another system and it sucked. Which is why we bought so much for future jobs. We won't use any other systems! This is the best one out there. Not sure why they don't carry them.
I used an oscillating saw and cut them back so they could be grouted over. Of the 125 that I used, only 3 didn't break back all the way as advertised.

Make sure you are allowing the 24 hours for the thinset to dry. Once the thinset has cured, kick them perpendicular to the joint with heavy work boots
I use a sheetrock knife and cut anything down below the grout line.
It worked great, the only thing is on back order but it’s worth the wait
