          Nearly lost my hand
The table saw itself cuts true and the fence works fine. However the face plate is made of plastic. While ripping a piece of rosewood the saw wanted to kick back however the components did what they were supposed to do and stopped that. However the plastic face plate broke pulling a large chunk of my work piece with it. My push stick follows that down into the bottom of the saw and I was barely able to stop the momentum of my hand from falling into the blade. Do not get Thai saw

            Saw
It was easy to set up and use! Worked really well for the floating mantle that I cut at 45 degrees! Now I can make great cuts in the future.

Portable saw for projects at my bay house
Ryobi RTS23 table saw for the price point, it had all features I wanted. Uses ripping planks into non-dimensional widths and fabricating molding and trim pieces from common lumber. The dado blade throat feature is a plus.

                Better than I expected
At this price point you don't expect a lot, but this was better than I expected. The stand is surprisingly stable. The motor drives the blade without bogging down. The fence isn't fancy, but it positions easily and holds firmly and square. The table extension works - you can position the fence beyond 24". The only significant shortcoming is the miter slot. It's odd-sized, and isn't a true t-s!ot. The provided gauge is junk. You'll not find another that fits, and building a sled won't be easy.

                        Bad quality product.......
Only lasted 4 months before it broke. The blade lift mechanism jammed which really surprised me because after I looked at it closely and being a designer myself it is amazing it lasted that long. Instead of gearing like other manufacturers using Ryobi decided to go cheap and rely on a screw threaded in to a dinky bar that travels by its ends in the groove on each side. So basically there is no support for the bar and it got got skewed and bent. Other problems on this saw is that miter slot is not straight up and down. I measure a .010 of an inch slope. Good luck making sled runners!!!!! The fence did not slide smoothly. There are hardly any adjustments for anything. No room for dado stack either. Luckily HD took it back and I bought another brand for only $130 more and I have no complaints at all. Not even one. And the brand is a sister company to Ryobi. Go figure.

Ryobi 15 Amp 10 in. RTS23(T) Expanded Capacity Table Saw w/ Rolling stand and two, what...wait, only one miter track with tabs so no T-track (bummer)
I purchased this thinking there were two miter tracks (pic#1), as is seen online when searching for table saws with stands. I was misled by the sales guy, stating that the one in the store is the only one they make RTS23. I'm not a wood worker. With all the other things I've been setting up i.e. dust collection, router table, downdraft table, etc., and with the pandemic, it took a while before I started using it quickly realized its only got one slot (pic#2). I was going to make a sled, I have t-track with hold down clamps, and I can't use any of it and it's pretty useless for me now. I want to be safe and precise with my cuts, but having only one track on the right side of the blade, doesn't allow me to easily use my feather boards and prevents me from utilizing hold down clamps integrated in t-track. The one t-track that is included has tabs inside the track 2 front 2 rear, to hold the miter gauge in place. It doesn't even do that very well as the miter gives too much, wobbling really. The track is to wide for the provided miter, but the tabs prevent you from inserting t-track and/or your own miter...not that they would fit for certain anyway. I've talked to numerous Home Depot employees to try and get this straight, seeing as I was being sold the RTS23 model with 2 t-track, but in fact was sold the RTS23T, which only has this one. The RTS23T model actually advertises a picture with 2 miter tracks, as it highlights the blade guard, but in fact only has 1 track; misleading (pic#3). I called Ryobi to try and buy the saw table with 2 slots and the sales rep didn't know they even sold a model like that, but finally found out just the table is $180, and might not even fit my model. Nobody has wanted to help me get the item I intended to get in the first place and now too much time has gone by they just say that its too late to do anything now. If you work construction and don't use the miter too much, I say buy it. However, if you want to do any woodworking and home made jigs with t-track and hold down clamps, feather boards, etc. THIS IS NOT THE MODEL YOU WANT RTS23T -that's one "T" for one miter track I guess. The RTS23, no T, should have two tracks, and my review might be much different if that were my experience.
