What if the sucker gets clogged up

Thank you for asking, Jazzy259. The tubes on this blower vacuum are designed to be large enough that there should not be a clog. However, if there is a clog, you would need to take the unit apart to unclog the machine. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in Ryobi! -Keri

Answer

Several other people have said it is a plastic blade with a metal center. I had a similar model for years and never had a problem with the impeller. I doubt there is a metal one available simply due to the cost.

How to start it?

Asked by Bird May 27, 2016

Answers

Thank you for asking, Bird. To start the engine, this blower should be placed on a flat, bare surface. *Slowly press the primer bulb 10 times. NOTE: After the 7th press, fuel should be visible in the primer bulb. If it is not, continue to press the primer until you see fuel in the bulb. *Set the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE position. *Squeeze the throttle trigger or set the cruise control lever to the full throttle position. Pull the starter grip and rope sharply until engine attempts to run (no more than 4 pulls). *Set the choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position. *Pull the starter grip and rope until the engine runs. Do not pull the starter grip and rope more than six (6) times. NOTE: If the engine does not start, return to the FULL CHOKE position and repeat the steps that follow. *Allow the engine to run for 15 seconds, then set the choke lever to the RUN position. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in Ryobi! -Keri

What is the spark plug #? or size?

Asked by Skippy1 April 27, 2016

Answers

Are you sure it is the spark plug? This particular unit is known for its horrible low quality ignition coil. That is why Ryobi only gave this product a 3-year warranty, instead of the 5 year warranty offered on other products. I hope your problem is only the spark plug, otherwise you may as well drop this piece of garbage into your trash can.

Broken beyond repair
This would have been a 4 star rating but the plastic where the vacuum tube attaches with the screws work hardened and broke after 1 fall and 1spring season. I only used it in my yard (not commercially) and it bit the big one far too soon for the price I paid. The only way to fix it would be to get a whole new front cover. This is a pretty cheaply made machine.

Great blower/vac
Great blower/vacuum. I purchased this model (mix oil and gas) to keep the purchase price down. This blower has good power, it is relatively quiet, I own other 2 cycle tools, so mixing oil and gas is no big deal and I already have it available due to other tools. It does a good job.

Good value
Works great as a blower not sure about the vacuum. Starts in a couple of pulls. Only drawback is the intake is on the wrong side if you're right handed.
