RYOBI introduces the 6 in. Hook and Loop Backer to our cleaning category. This backer is compatible with our 6 in. microfiber, knit microfiber, lambswool, and sponge heads (sold separately). The 6 in. Hook and Loop System provides quick change adaptability with a variety of sponge and cloth heads. This system creates an anti-slip hold so the accessory head remains attached to the scrubber. These heads have a unique fitment to the backer that prevents accidental marring. The Triangle Connector allows the Hook and Loop System to be compatible with the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Power Scrubbers. Included in this set is (1) 6 in. Hook and Loop Backer.

Backer allows for Quick Change of Cloth, Sponge or LambsWool
I got both the RYOBI 6 in. Hook and Loop Backer for the my Sponge Kit.
This backer is compatible with Ryobi's 6 in. microfiber, knit microfiber, lambswool, and sponge heads (sold separately). I have the SpongeHead but plan to get the Lambswool for the car.
The 6 in. Hook and Loop System provides quick change with a variety of sponge and cloth heads. Good anti-slip hold so the accessory head remains attached to the scrubber. The Triangle Connector allows the Hook and Loop System to be compatible with the RYOBI 18V ONE+ Power Scrubbers.

Shipped quickly - fits perfectly
Ryobi - RYOBI 6 in. Hook and Loop Backer
Country of origin - China
Initially purchased for another buffer, but the mounting unit appears to be set exclusively for Ryobi branded power scrubbers or other 18 v cordless systems.
The Ryobi branded polishing pads immediately snapped into place.
The Ryobi branded 18v power supply works for my cordless chainsaw - perhaps I'll add the scrubber next.

Fits perfectly
I bought this to go with my Ryobi power scrubber (P4510) 18V One+. As was expected it fit perfectly and very securely. There is absolutely no give or play in the connection between the scrubber and this backer plate. The hook and loop seems to be high quality as does the overall piece which appears to be made of very high impact plastic. I have no complaints and look forward to using this on my truck and boat.

Good Concept But for Ryobi Tools Only
The RYOBI 6 in. Hook and Loop Backer is a well-made device that allows you to quickly attach a lambswool, foam or other material polishing head. However, this backer is designed only for specific Ryobi cleaners and polishers. It will not attach to other brands of polishers. It has a unique locking process that is proprietary to Ryobi. If you have a Ryobi tool, this works great.

Every one needs at least two
Having an extra RYOBI Hook and Loop Backer around is a must for those cleaning and polishing jobs. I’ve really come to appreciate the ease of using the RYOBI Hook and Loop Backer with the triangle connector, as it makes cleaning and polishing less of a hassle with an easy change out. I keep at least two handy when it is boat cleaning and storage season.

Must have if you want to use more brush types!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must to use some of the scrubbing pads and the microfiber attachment. Good to have on hand and you'll be able to use a lot more types of cleaning brushes with this.
