Don't waste your money
It worked great, until it didn't. Less than a year old and it decided to quit working (not pumping) while treating for mold. When I needed it most. It was never abused and flushed with clean water after every use. I should have read the reviews.

    Clogs every other use
The clip that secured the tank broke after a few times. It’s always clogged when we need it to work. Horrible design and not enough power to be worth owning it. With the side clip broken it is now unusable.

I read many great reviews on this product. These individuals were either paid to do so or have never used a good electric sprayer. This product has absalutely no power whatsoever.

        this is a wonderful product
I’m happy that I found the right sprayer for my fruit trees. I’ve been trying to look for something like this that can be Easy and comfortable to use around in the garden and spray the flowers and the trees. Thank you very much for the product and I will purchase more in the future.

          Great sprayer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this pump to disinfect the air handlers at my church. The wand is brass, and has an adjustable nozzle.

            Stopped spraying after 10 months
I purchased my 1 gallon on 8-7-2019. It stopped spraying this week even through the motor runs, battery fully charged, & switch seems to work fine. So I pulled the tank off & at the end of the siphon tube I pulled off the end & it contains a tiny screen. I try my best to use clean water & chemicals but that little screen had about 25 little back particles in it. The screen is very small see ink pen for comparison. See image. I started diagnostics by checking the end of the spray nozzle, then disconnected the hose from the spray trigger, then removed the hose from the sprayer body. Everything was clear so I then removed the tank ,then the filter screen. Ryobi if you read this I would suggest a removable screen at the pour location. This is the first sprayer I have ever owned that didn't have a pour screen.

Good build quality but poor performance
I bought this because I was tired of buying the essentially disposable hand pump sprayers. Because they are so cheap I rarely treat them right. And I end up replacing at least one a year. I love Ryobi so I thought this was a shoe in. But in just testing it with water it failed. I turned it on and let it build a little pressure and pulled the trigger. At first there was a nice even spray. But after a few seconds it just piddled out like a hand pump sprayer without enough pressure. I made some adjustments but nothing helped. So I boxed it up to get a replacement. Second one did the same thing. So it’s going back too. One fails, I got unlucky and got a bum one. Two fail and I’m either the unluckiest person alive when it comes to sprayers or there’s something wrong with this batch of sprayers. Gonna save up a bit more and buy a real backpack sprayer. Till then, I’ll keep hand pumping. Photos are the same pump taken just seconds apart. To be clear, it I let pressure build up again the spray was again good. But only for a few seconds.

                Pull the trigger & go!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an old hand pump sprayer that I've rebuilt several times. This is so much easier to use! No repeated pumping to get the pressure back up so no fatigue! Constant, even pressure every time I pull the trigger. Very happy with this little sprayer and recommend it for anyone spraying around their home.

Worked well BUT cap fell apart
Liked how it worked. BUT only used it for 2 tank fulls, less than 1 hour. The measuring cap literally fell apart in my hand when I took it off to refill the 3rd time. It wasn't dropped or mishandled. Obvious cheap plastic cap. I'll see if they replace it. :(

Close to 'the greatest thing since sliced bread'
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased the Ryobi sprayer. It's use is for household spraying and the sprayer did what was suppose to do. I have read reviews about electrical sprayers where they lose some of pressure. I didn't notice any of loss pressure when spraying. Again, it is for household use. I did notice that you tend to use more to the concentrate, but then that can due to the ease of use. Cleaned and stored per instructions. At least I won't have to hassle with those attached sprayers.

OK for a first effort. Lots of room for improvement.
I have had this for about a year now. I was excited to have dedicated battery powered sprayer for insecticides only. I do a lot of spraying: house, cabin and farm. I have two back pack sprayers and a pump sprayer on the back of my ATV. The good: umm -- It's got a battery? The spray wand clips nicely in the handle (see #2). The rest: 1. The pump can't be run dry. so you are left with about 5 oz of spray in the tank after every session. Go ahead just dump it on the ground. right! What am I supposed to do with this stuff? 2. The handle is junk. The threads are short and after a while become worn and leak. If you like having pesticides leak on your hand, clothes and shoes -- this is for you. After a month I replaced the hose and handle with a spare I had for my back pack sprayer. Now it actually sprays with some power. The orifice in the valve in the stock handle must be too small. From the start it was a weak spray and limited flow. With the new handle and valve it sprays as it should. So add another ~$10 for this upgrade. 3. The suction hose that goes in the tank has a very small filter that plugs easily due to its size. It also comes off easily so you can spend lots of time looking around in the tank and on the ground for it. The inlet hose doesn't reach all the way to the bottom. see #1 4. The pump lacks a pressure switch. You have to constantly switch it on and off. It could probably be run full time under pressure except the cheap connections leak all over the place. see #2 5. The cap for the tank doesn't self drain back into the tank. I can buy a bottle of laundry detergent with this feature for $8. Many of the pesticides I buy have a lid with this (weedbgon). Surely the engineers at Ryobi have noticed this when doing their own laundry. So while the oz and ml markings on the lid are cute, don't use it as it will just drip the residue down the side of the tank -- more leaking. 6. The hose is made of the cheapest plastic they could source. It kinks, and makes the sprayer fight your other hand.

I bought a sprayer for herbicide, works pretty good so I bought another for insecticide, I planned to buy a third, a backpack sprayer. The second sprayer includes a charger that uses a wall transformer. I absolutely hate wall transformers. There is no way I can plug it in to the powerstrip I use for battery charging so it is going back. I have owned dozens of tool battery chargers over the years and this is the first I have ever seen with a wall transformer. Maybe the first sprayer I bought is going back too since I am not going to have two kinds of sprayers. I also bought a work lite because I have two Ryobi batteries and two chargers. That is going back too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m just starting out gardening in raised beds. I was spraying my organic pest control AND disease control with 1 liter spray bottles. My garden is growing so large that I couldn’t keep up physically. MY HANDS WERE SO SORE! My wonderful husband bought it for my birthday and I and so happy. Saves time, works far better than the hand spray bottles and I can already see the difference in my garden in just one week. We own several Ryobi tools.

This Ryobi battery-powered sprayer has a lot of great features: This Ryobi battery-powered sprayer has a lot of great features: - Brass nozzle and fitting on wand to prevent corrosion (see picture) - 18 volt battery (see picture) so no pumping to keep pressure! - Battery from my other Ryobi tools fit this sprayer as well - 6 foot reach to tip of nozzle from sprayer - easy to use side clips to attach top of sprayer (see picture) - sturdy padded and adjustable shoulder strap so you have both hands free - fast battery charger with easy to understand charge status (see picture) - thoughtful inclusion of all replacement rubber gaskets (see picture) – you don’t see that often! I used this sprayer to spray the house foundation and a shed perimeter and it was great not having to pump a handle to keep up the pressure. The 2 Ampere battery should last a long time, but there was no charge status LED on the battery. However, the charger does work pretty quickly. I would highly recommend this sprayer because it does away with the need to pump to keep spray pressure.

I love that you don't have to take all apart each time to refill also. the big valve is positioned to where you can just untwist it and leave the rest together. AMAZING PRODUCT. also love the hands free option

I needed a smaller, light weight electric garden sprayer and this Ryobi sprayer does the trick. I really like that the tube on the wand is metal with an adjustable brass nozzle. The pressure isn’t very strong, stream may go 7 feet at the most but it does the job spraying weed and bug killers. I didn’t like that the pump kept running when the trigger on the wand was released so I installed a pressure cut off switch. The pressure switch is adjustable and costed around $20, including the fittings, to add. This extended the battery charge life quite a bit, too bad it doesn’t come standard from Ryobi. Some people might think I just blew the warranty by doing this modification but I just increased the life of the sprayer and battery way beyond the warranty life. I also put some dense foam inside the handle housing to help cut down the noise when the pump runs. Now it’s 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I are Hobbyist/ Enthusiast Auto Detailers. We work hard at keeping the Families cars clean and kept. I an effort to reduce water use, we incorporate Rinseless Washing when possible. Using this sprayer allows us to work efficiently and is perfect for pre- spraying at wash time. Best of all, the Ryobi System Batteries fit the other tools I've bought.

Five stars for what I think it was designed to do, and that is spray weed killer and other water soluble chemicals. The battery lasts a very reasonable time, assuming you spray maybe 10 seconds and rest 10 seconds, it will empty its 1 gallon tank no problem. It did a great job with both the Weed B Gon and Spectracide clover killer. The nozzle outputs a range of spray patterns almost exactly as my RoundUp 2-gal pump sprayer. I also used it to spray Qwik Seal surface sealer over wire-brushed-and-rinsed stucco before applying Behr Ultra Exterior by roller. The Qwik Seal is water clean-up but will dry hard and would probably gum up the sprayer if allowed to dry in the hose and the nozzle. So be absolutely sure all your chemicals are truly soluble and then run 15 seconds seconds of clear water thru when done. The nozzle comes off and is easy to unplug if necessary. I already owned more Ryobi One Plus tools, so getting another charger and battery that came with the $79 sprayer was a nice deal !!
