The RYOBI 18V ONE+ Cordless 1/2 Gal. Electrostatic Sprayer allows you to spray water soluble disinfectants and other cleaning solutions with the convenience of battery power. This handheld sprayer is compact and lightweight for comfortable, 1-handed operation. Engage the on/off switch to activate the electrostatic technology or to deactivate it when using chemicals best suited for conventional spraying. You can spray up to 30 Tanks per charge with the included 18V ONE+ Battery, which is compatible with all RYOBI 18V ONE+ tools. The 3-in-1 Adjustable Nozzle Selector allows you to choose from multiple spray patterns, simply turn the nozzle to select between Low, Medium and High. The low setting sprays 65 microns up to 2 ft. away, the medium setting sprays 85 microns up to 5 ft. away and the high setting sprays 160 microns up to 10 ft. away. This sprayer comes equipped with 2 low, 2 medium and 2 high nozzles making it easy to complete jobs of multiple sizes. The RYOBI 18 ONE+ Cordless 1/2 Gal. Electrostatic Sprayer. 18 ONE+ 2.0 Ah Battery and 18V ONE+ Charger which is compatible with Over 280 ONE+ tools and is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Q:out of the box, set up as recommended per instructions, filled tank to fill line, and plugged in the battery, and it is not spraying anything from any of the settings.
Am I missing a step on the set up or what?

Q:I've searched high and low and can't seem to find a replacement tank for this model. It doesn't swap with any of the others. Is it just not produced or.......? Kind of at a loss here to be honest.

Works ok sometimes. Messy.
Spits and drools all over. Works ok sometimes. Maybe I haven't learned all the peculiarities? But it isn't plug and play joy.

I imagine an "average" rating would be appropriate however, this item did not meet my expectations as described in the product description. When spraying, droplets would fall on area being sprayed. this would cause problems if on fabric and on flooring a clean up would be necessary.

The electrostatic worked but not even close to the advertisements! Didnt hardly get any to the back sides! Would be misting then spit out a lot! When tilted even a full tank a little bit back, it would sputter and spit air! Usually love ryobi tools and have lots of them but we returned this tool right away for our money back!

Good for small areas / tight spaces
Not a fogger - use indoors as directed & clean properly afterwards to ensure longevity.

It does okay if your spraying a small area but...
It does okay if your spraying a small area but at the highest setting your having to refill it quite often. Selector decays quite fast as well.
I have a hand pump sprayer and I prefer it over this product.
