Awesome Features!

Great tool!

Good for tight squeezes
I got this ratchet wrench to fit into some tight squeezes I have on some of the machines I have in my home shop, like inside the table saw or drill press where you can't reach with a conventional driver. It does well at getting into those confined areas, and even has a head that swivels so you can approach bolts from different angles. It doesn't seem to be super powerful, but I haven't yet had a chance to try it on anything really rusted on to know if it is able to deal with those situations. But under normal operating conditions, it is definitely a good tool to have around the shop.

This is part of my pit crew tools for sure.
This Ryobi ratchet lives up to the Ryobi name - excellent! The powerful torque on this ratchet works great in forward and reverse. I love the 2 LED lights that help you see the work area you are working with. Great to help illuminate those tight spaces where it is hard to see. The battery is not included, but it hold both the regular and the extra long life batteries.

Great Addition to the Toolbox, but Noisy
Adding this Ryobi One 18V Cordless Ratchet to my Tool Collection gives me another tool to get greasy! I'm loving the new Brushless lineup and the additional power of the ratchet. The 1/4" head rotates 360 degrees and has lights on two sides to light up work on the ratchet and surrounding work area. It is variable speed and has a lock button that stops the paddle from engaging if laid on the paddle side. This 1/4" ratchet has 40 ft lbs of torque and a smaller head for close work. The biggest negative is the noise of the ratchet while powered on. Air Ratchets have a whistle, but this ratchet clicks with turn of the socket. Time will tell if the ratchet wears down quickly or stands the test of use.

Great little ratchet.
So far I've got nothing but nice things to say about this cordless ratchet. It's light weight but still has plenty of torque for a little ratchet. Now I did use it with an adapter and 9/16 socket and for what I was working on it worked surprisingly well. It broke lose the bolts I needed it to and did a real good job tightening the other ones. I like how the head can be swiveled around to get in different positions, first time I've seen that on and electric ratchet. Uses your standard Ryobi 18V battery and depending on the size of the battery you should get pretty good life out charge.

Solid Performance
Let me just say that I like all of my Ryobi One Plus tools. This ratchet is no exception. Despite the lower price from other manufacturers, Ryobi consistently makes a good tool that stands up to where and performs as it should.
That said, what I like about this ratchet is the ability to turn the head in for positions. The paddle works very well and is sensitive enough so that you can go slow or as fast as you need. The rubber over molding on the handle grip is comfortable and prevents slipping. The other rubber over molding on the sides do a good job of protecting the tool when you lay it down. This ratchet has forward and reverse and a locking switch. When engaged the Locking switch prevents the paddle from turning the quarter inch ratchet head. This ratchet has two LEDs that will assist your vision in low light conditions. My only detraction is that these LEDs seem to illuminate the area in front of the tool like a flashlight rather than being aimed downward so as to better illuminate what you are trying to ratchet. As always very good job Ryobi. I recommend this tool for sure.

I am so excited to get one of the first RYOBI ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless Compact 3/8 in. Ratchet (Tool Only) that just came out and is available through Home Depot. This ratchet really rocks with all the new features it has to offer. It has a four way adjustable rotating head for easy access to any hard to reach area. It has a strong 40# of torque, very compact, and a variable Speed paddle trigger with lock for safety. Big results in a small package plus a year warranty. Definitely a keeper. It has the power and finess for any small or large job.

Versatile
I have been doing mechanic work for over 50 years and always like to find things that make the job easier, so I got the chance to get this electric ratchet and picked it up. I have had and used a 3/8” air ratchet for years. This one is nice that I don’t have to drag out an air hose and since it isn’t air powered, it’s way quieter. It’s not a big powerhouse, but it is a 1/4” drive, so you don’t need a lot of power usually. The head has a lock on it that you can release so you can rotate the head and it locks in at 90 degree increments. It has a pair of lights that light and maintain on for a short time to when you squeeze the trigger. Speaking of trigger, it’s a variable speed and is easy to control even at low speeds. There is also a trigger lockout as well. Which is nice so when I have it with other tools, it doesn’t accidentally get turned on and run the battery down. I don’t have much for RYOBI tools, but what I do have, they seem to be heavy built. Also, the battery is a match to the other battery operated RYBOI tools that I have. The draw back? It’s made in China, but the majority tools like this is made in the same place.

Great. versatility
I really like this Ryobi 18V One + HP 1/4” High speed Ratchet. First off this unit is Brushless which means more Torque and speed versus a Brushed model, and there aren’t any Brushes to wear out and replace down the road. This unit also had a head that rotates and locks up to 360 Degrees in 45 Degree positions to allow access to a multitude of different situations. This Tool has 2 very bright LED lights that will help illuminate you work area and stays lit for a few seconds after releasing the trigger. This Ratchet has a variable speed trigger lever that is also lockable with a simple flip of a switch. This Ratchet will turn up to 460 RPMs, and has a torque rating of up to 40 ft-lbs. This is a great Ratchet and would be great for Home, Business, industrial, or hobby repairs/Builds. This is also nice as you don’t have a Air Hose to drag around or get hung up on everything, and do not need a separate air supply. This is a Great little Ratchet that is useful and versatile and will be a great addition to your Tool Box.
