Does not use standard 15gauge nails. I am big Ryobi fan and bought this gun with intent to see how well the "airstrike" technology worked. All was great until I tried to use standard 15g nails and found it would jam immediately. You cannot use your dewalt/metabo/ or any other standard angled 15 gauge nails. I still have no idea where to get nails for this gun. I returned it to home depot after one day.

great finish nailer
Picked it up today. Was replacing a regular door with a fire door. used this to install the trim around the door. I used the supplied ryobi nails that came with it. Very nice job. Fire doors have a steel fin and the molding goes on top of that. this gun shot nails through the molding, through the steel fin and into the stud, with the head of the nail sunk perfectly. it saved me a lot of time. I only have one difficult moment, it was because i had pulled the trigger and let go prior to a nail firing because i changed my mind on the nail position. It did not want to fire after that. I removed the battery and waited a minute and it started working fine again. The tool is a bit heavy but with it due to no air hoses and no compressor to lug around. I can bring it to small and large jobs. Im doing a kitchen this weekend and it will be well used and a real time saver.

I owned the Milwaukee version prior to this and after watching the Concord carpenter's Youtube reviews returned the Milwaukee and bought this. Could be happier. More power and cheaper than the Milwaukee. Based on the performance of this I bought the Ryobi stapler and the pin nailer and they are all reliable. Ryobi has hit a home run with their nailers.

        Impressive
With a healthy dose of skepticism, I decided to try this nailer to install solid 3/4 oak floors in some tight areas the flooring nailer wouldn't fit in. Can hardly believe a battery powered nailer was able to drive 2.5" 15 gauge nails all the way through into the plywood. Beyond impressed! Well done ryobi.

          Amazing air power!
I am totally impressed with the simplicity and power of this nailer. It came completely assembled right from the box. I loaded the nailer with 2 inch nails (included) and immediately began building shelves by nailing 2x4's to 1 inch wooden shelving. I just pressed the nailer against the work surface squeezed the trigger and the air powered nailer drove nail after nail flush into the wood effortlessly and quietly. The Airstrike nailer is light weight, and loading the nails was simple and quick. It has the capacity for nails up to 2 1/2 inches long. The instruction manual was easy to read and helpful. This is my favorite tool.

Nice Addtion to the Tool Box
I used this to put up some waynes coating. It was easy to use, I was also able to use my existing ryobi batteries which was nice. This was the first time I used a power nailer. I was apprehensive at first but felt like a pro from the first nail.

Nailer Has Precision Depth-of-Drive Adjustment and Outstanding Perfomance
I have always needed a good finish nailer and decided to obtain the Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ AirStrike 15-Gauge Cordless Angled Finish Nailer. The 15 gauge nails are stout enough to use in hardwood flooring, yet still good for fastening baseboards, window and door trim, and crown molding. What stands out with this tool is the depth-of-drive precision and good ergonomics. I have been quite impressed with it's features and performance. The Ryobi 18-Volt AirStrike 15 Gauge Nailer has a magazine capacity of 105 nails (1-2.5 inch) and can drive 750 nails on a single charge with an extended capacity battery. Exact precision of depth is achieved using a lever to set the air pressure and a depth-of-drive adjustment wheel. It also includes a convenient switch to easily change from sequential to bump mode of operation, and has an LED light for illuminating the work surface. Two no-mar tips are included in the package, along with 500 nails (2 inch). It also comes with a 3-year warranty. The only slight negative is the weight and size. At nearly 15 inches wide and 6.8 lbs (without battery), this is definitely not a compact nailer. The ergonomics are good though, and the performance is outstanding.

          Leave the Air Compressor behind
A little bigger than i expected but is worth it. You need the size to get the power for a finishing nailer. Uses any Ryobi 18V battery. Used the battery to load the next air shot. I love that you do not need a Air Compressor and lug it around the job site.

          Great Power Tool Addition
Ryobi makes great quality power tools. This ONE+ AirStrike 18-Volt 15-Gauge Cordless Angled Finish Nailer is another in the series of tools that share batteries and charger. And just the fact that it is cordless and does not need a compressor is worth it. This nailer works for all kinds of wood finish work including furniture and flooring. I will use this for my new hardwood floor installation. There are 2 modes. Single sequential is the most accurate, while contact mode is a much faster. Other adjustments are for the air pressure and the depth of drive. I like the LED light feature. Included are 500 2 inch nails.

Bought this to replace a ridgid nailer that died and was too costly to repair. This unit works well.

Pretty decent finish nailer that works well for installing interior molding and trim. I have also used it outdoors on a gateway lattice project using 1 in. x 2 in. cedar boards. The nailer tends to be much quieter indoor than using the air nailer as there are no hoses to run through the house or compressors blaring in you ears. The nailers only problem so far has been with the brads I am using. They tend not to separate as they should and jam in the head of the unit sometimes. The Ryobi batteries tend to hold up pretty well, especially the big ones, but set on high settings for mdf and the like it can drain pretty fast if using intensely. Overall I am pleased with the unit. I have a huge variety of Ryobi tools already and a good supply of batteries to keep my tools ready at all times. This adds another good tool to my collection.

                        Did not last long
It’s only seen light use for the last couple of years I’ve had owned it. Hung a couple of doors and built a few garage shelves and some drawers. Maybe 15 or 20 clips of nails at the most. Never has set nails consistanly and it’s too heavy. Last few times that I’ve used it it started making a screaching noise. Yesterday it died completely. Out of warranty so it went in the trash. Ordered a Dewalt.
